- CHChase HolstAug 24, 20261.0Absolutely horrible experience with this company. I started off speaking with Kristina, who is an Idaho specialist for their systems. She was great to speak with. However as soon as “the system was installed” all I could speak to was call centers with individuals whose first language was clearly not English. My device originally did not show up in time for my installation appointment, then when it finally did show up a week later, the device did not work. A faulty product. The installer removed it before it even got calibrated simply because it did not work. I never even left the building with the system installed. Two weeks later I’m stilling fighting to get my money back ($135). They’re trying to charge me $63 for a lease charge and protection plan without the device installed, on top of it they’re trying to charge me an additional $62 to close my account. This whole company does not care about you, they want their money and are willing to take advantage of people in a less fortunate circumstance. DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT use this company. Edit: I want to make perfectly clear that the service center is not the problem here, they were friendly, straight forward and honest with me throughout this whole process. They were even kind enough to let me leave my vehicle at their store for a few days. The problem is with Intoxalock. Use any other company.

Now something messed up with my car’s electronics battery, starter, etc. Took $225 to get it towed to the service center where it took another $185 to get a diagnosis that it was the Intoxalock device causing the problems. Passed my 90 day clean report and have just needed this company to submit an email to the authorities which should have been sent in over a week ago, but to no avail. First I was told they would send me an email to give to the state police and dmv by one of intoxalocks representatives. After talking to the dmv and state police it is intoxalocks responsibility to do so. Now I’m supposed to get the device calibrated in 5 days when it should have already been removed. Just one email to the agencies and it would be over. Will keep updating until I can get it sorted or they can.
