I dropped off my 2014 Chevy Captiva LT on Tuesday morning at 7 am. To get a transmission Flush and Fill. The Gentleman at the front counter was polite and helpful with my questions. They let me leave my vehicle there over night so I could sleep. I had gotten off work at 6 am that day. They also didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. My Chevy is shifting and idling perfectly now, no more burnt odor under the vehicle! 🎉 I also payed a few dollars less then I was originally quoted. This is now my go too Mechanic Shop. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful auto repair business!! My husband has a Ram Truck and it did have a faulty media screen. It would have been prohibitively expensive to get screen repaired at the dealership however my husband found a website that sells replacement screens. When the screen "ghost touching" became unbearable, my husband took the truck to Trinity and asked the owner if he would be willing to install the screen from this website. It was agreed upon that Todd would prepay for the screen, Trinity would order the screen and then install it. We now have a working media screen that doesn't "ghost touch" and the final price for labor was less than quoted. We are customers for our vehicles life, Trinity! Thank you so much!

4/21/26 .. pulled into their lot for a third opinion on excessive harmonic balancer vibration at warm idle, and their answer was the same as another mechanic at a different shop, so I was fine with his assessment, but then he walked around and reached his hand behind my exhaust manifold and told me that I have an exhaust manifold leak... which is strange because I had recently replaced the exhaust manifold gasket along with the entire exhaust line and I had fully smoke tested for exhaust leaks only 2 months earlier. I thought the air could simply be coming from the radiator fan pushing air between the engine block and the hot exhaust manifold. Plus a leak producing that much air would be noisy, especially upon cold start-ups. Anyway, my engine is nearly silent at warm idle now.. because Capitol Toyota adjusted all 16 valves to within factory spec only 45 days earlier... So I asked him "so if I smoke test my entire exhaust again while cold, and there's still no smoke coming out, what will your opinion then be?" ... And instead of answering my question he became upset and said to me "Look, I'm not going to argue with you. I'm as much of a Master tech as any of those guys at the Toyota dealerships".. It seemed strange to me that he would suddenly bring up dealerships since I hadn't mentioned any dealerships. Right after that he also said to me "and it sounds like your valves need to be adjusted. You might want to have the clearances checked". Immediately I began to shut my hood and while doing so I told him that the valves were adjusted at Capitol Toyota less than two months earlier, then from behind me I heard him say "okay" and he walked back into their building. I have no idea how this Trinity shop is so highly reviewed on Google. I don't understand it, which is why I don't trust Google reviews. I "tour" auto repair shops in the area to find out if there's any that I might do business with in the future, and I usually know within first contact whether or not I will ever return there. I recommend keeping your vehicles away from this shop. Edit: the exhaust leak at that location is the connection BETWEEN the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter pipe, which I had sealed two months earlier, but no exhaust manifold leak is heard during cold start-ups because the leak isn't from the exhaust manifold gasket, and the manifold itself is not cracked either. Now .. whether the hot air felt by hand at that location is fully coming from that pipe connection leak or not, along with the radiator fan blowing air, I don't know. After the truck sat 18 hours overnight stone cold, I smoke tested the exhaust again, which is how I know that pipe connection is already leaking again. It's because they're aftermarket parts and they don't line up properly even with a Permatex gasket maker sealant along with their donut pipe gaskets. But this tech was still wrong about my valves being out of adjustment, and party wrong about my exhaust leak, so making a statement like he did when there was no sound to be heard from a very quiet idling engine with all valves within factory spec, blows my mind. And also, there was no excuse for his little verbal outburst when I simply asked him a question. No communication skills.
