Great staff, shitty manager. I brought my 2010 Ford Transit Connect to this spot to get my transmission serviced (a $320 service). The staff were kind and professional, and had me pull into the bay to have my car serviced. I was hoping to get my tires inflated, windshield cleaned, the basic stuff. As the employees are starting, the manager yells at them, telling to get me out of the bay so they can service other cars. I ended up being tucked outside the building, getting none of the little services I wanted, and I got to hear this blowhard belittle his employees. Would not recommend.

Dr Rob here! We were having some trouble getting the TPMS sensors to read on our customer's 2019 GMC Terrain, and we needed to have the customer's vehicle done that day!
I called up Les Schwab, and they said NO PROBLEM and to bring it on down.
Ellisa, the manager, was friendly, professional, and I knew I was in good hands with a very TRICKY issue.
They first tried the TPMS that the parts book said would work, but they did not work- imagine that! So the tech at Les Schwab rolled up his sleeves and used his expert troubleshooting skills to find out that this model used a special setup, and got the job done that same day!
Here at The Car Doctor Shop we pride ourselves on being the Diagnostic Experts, but even then, everyone needs a WIZARD! When it comes to tires, Les Schwab Hillsboro is now our go-to!
Thanks again, Ellisa and the TEAM at Hillsboro Les Schwab. If you’re looking for tires, this is the place to go!

I have never experienced such a profound lack of appreciation—or such passive-aggressive, confrontational, argumentative, and condescending behavior—from a manager while trying to do business with a company. My experience with Eric, the manager of this Les Schwab location, was unlike any customer-service experience I have ever had.
What makes it especially disappointing is that I genuinely wanted to do business with Les Schwab. I gave them opportunity after opportunity, even when I had better options elsewhere.
After ongoing alignment issues, I purchased Cooper Discoverer Road & Trail tires through Les Schwab. I later discovered Discount Tire had the exact same tires fully installed for $864—roughly $300 less than the $1,153 and change Les Schwab had already charged my card.
When I called to cancel, I was initially told no problem and that the reversal might take a day or two to post. Soon after, Eric called me and said there would be a $75 cancellation fee—even though the tires hadn't even arrived.
When I questioned the fee, Eric became confrontational and argumentative. He told me nobody ever asks for Cooper Discoverer Road & Trail AT tires and that he didn't want them sitting on his shelf for years waiting for some random person to buy them. I found that unnecessarily condescending toward a customer who had specifically researched and chosen the tires he wanted.
I explained that Discount Tire had the same tires fully installed for $864. Eric didn't believe me, went onto their website himself, and initially said the difference was only about $140. I explained that I was comparing the actual tire and installation price without Discount Tire's optional tire certificates. After that discussion, Eric reluctantly agreed to match the $864 price, making sure to note that I would not receive Les Schwab's road-hazard coverage.
I canceled my Discount Tire appointment and stayed with Les Schwab because I genuinely wanted to give them my business and had an existing alignment warranty. Even more importantly, when I called Discount Tire to cancel, they offered to beat Les Schwab's matched price by another $100 to keep my business. I still chose Les Schwab.
When I returned, Eric was there but intentionally avoided acknowledging me while greeting the customer behind me. I had never experienced anything like that from a manager while actively trying to do business with their company.
The tire installation and alignment were completed in roughly 45 minutes, but I was not given meaningful before-and-after alignment measurements. Concerned, I immediately had the vehicle independently checked and it was found to still be out of alignment. After additional attempts at Les Schwab, I ultimately went to Discount Tire, where their technician worked with the SPC hardware and helped me get the vehicle properly aligned.
I later had another issue with a tire and again gave Les Schwab an opportunity to help. After waiting nearly three hours for an inspection I was told would take about 45 minutes, I was told the tire was fine and left with the same problem. Discount Tire subsequently performed a road-force balance, identified a high spot in the tire, and helped resolve the issue.
There was also another frustrating surprise when I discovered two TPMS-related line items on my Les Schwab invoice, despite my vehicle not having TPMS technology, leaving my final charge close to $950 after the agreed price match. Let's not forget to mention recommending front brakes, they are brand new a week earlier.
That's what stands out most to me: I kept trying to give Les Schwab my business, while Discount Tire kept showing me that they actually wanted it.
I chose Les Schwab repeatedly when I didn't have to. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right. Instead, I walked away feeling dismissed, unappreciated, and disrespected—particularly by the manager who should have been setting the tone for customer service.
Based on this experience, I recommend avoiding this location. I certainly will be taking my business elsewhere.
