  My alternator went out while on vacation and they were wonderful. They gave me the contact info of a mobile mechanic, we got the new alternator and he had it installed and I was back on the road within 3 hours. So grateful!

  I went here a few days ago because I needed a new battery which I bought. the cashier dude said I get money back for returning my old battery which I took back a couple days later. The guy basically said I had already returned it and took the battery without compensation. Said he couldnt do anything.

  So Awesome to visit this store today! They not only did they have the products that I needed, they had things maybe even more important, things missing in too many other stores these days ... 1 knowledgeable & friendly staff who seemed to enjoy serving the customers* 2. allowing their customers access to their restrooms** 3. while they have the option for self checkout, there are plenty of humans to do it for you ready and willing (who by the way don't try to up sale you in the process, very helpful) So, AutoZone Grants Pass receives all 5⭐ from me again today (I've been here before and never been disappointed) and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone like me who doesn't know much about their car and looking for folks they can trust or needing a helping hand with something either along the road or topping up supplies. Back to my comments * Sadly, given other places I've been at lately (at reviewed as well), I was beginning to think that customer service was a dying concept in the Western US - I'm 3rd generation and worked CS from high school through college and it's difficult to see this change). ** This is another sad change and business have many "reasons" they use to explain this though I've seen many examples of small and medium sized businesses able to afford their customers access to the same restrooms used by their staff, some with keypads others not - even a Good Will which one might expect would keep theirs locked up and would be a mess for doing so was immaculately clean. So it seems to come down again to a matter of choice, choose Customer Service or not. Some businesses are dying and many of them, certainly not all, for reasons related to the above. After all, who wants to frequent a business where the staff ignore you or make you feel as though you are a nuisance to them or that just because you are an older man that you should have thought about using your own bathroom before leaving home (even though that was 2 hours ago) Thankfully there are stores like AutoZone which are completely opposite of that! That's what keeps me coming back and recommending them to you and others - and, they have all the stuff you'll need much more.
