These guys are awesome, very helpful and professional. They found out I was missing some motor mount bolts. I would have never known without them.

It was okay.. I specifically asked for my tires to be set at 33psi, because I knew they were not. They handed me my service sheet saying the battery and tires were okay, before they were done, which was not an issue. They did the oil change. Then they told me the rear passenger tire was at 40 psi, and they couldn’t add air to the drivers side front tire (he said it wouldn’t take air). I then went down to Chevron and balanced my tire pressures myself. My back passenger tire was still at 40psi and the front drivers side was at 22psi. For paying $64.00, the effort wasn't there. I don’t believe my battery was checked either. I could understand if it was a busy day, there was only one car in the bay when I arrived. As a service manager, I am furious. Effort is the key to service.

Where do I even begin....first of all they only confirmed y name. Did not even ask if I have been to Valvoline before, just changed the name on the profile attached to my car. So now I have some one else's information, address, phone number, and zip code. Second they told me all this stuff about my car, oil leak, headlight out, something disconnected and burnt, coolant smelt of seafood, but nowhere in my comments on my invoice is any of this. Third this visit was a courtesy check to get a baseline on my newly purchased car and top up oil. I did not get my battery checked (not sure if said location does battery checks) power steering did not get checked, like is this the new standard of Valvoline customer service...I thought differently of Valvoline but now might be second guessing the professionalism.

I go to the Cubit Street location, in Eugene, Oregon. For me, this is why I really like the crew they have. 1. Great communication. They always let me know what's going on, how they're going to perform services, what my car needs, and how long everything is going to take. I make a ton of decisions in my life, due to my responsibilities, and it's lovely for me, to receive service, directions, and decisions that benefit me, without "lifting a finger", and simply just hanging out in my car. I think they're fast and convenient, and would not know why anybody would complain about them, if that was ever a case. 2. I like that they offer services that I might need, or in the future, I might need, but I never feel pressure to purchase. I feel more, like I get educated. Because of this respect, I usually will purchase an additional service. While my truck does need the additional service from time to time, I purchase them more out of wanting to spend my hard earned money out of support, to keep those there working. The formula of these guys provide, probably took awhile to master, but when it comes down to it, for the customer, it's about as easy as it gets, with massive amounts convenience, quickness, and great customer service. Any complaints about the method, I'd be bold to say, it's on the customer, and most likely their bad or selfish attitude. Lastly, I like to keep my money in my neighborhood. So, I enjoy a brand that allows me to choose how I want to spend, and where I want to spend. It's very important to me, that my money is valued, in a world that doesn't, and for me, this location makes me feel that way, as well as they are very consistent. Excellence to me, comes from being consistently good, and these people are that. In closing, the only adjustment I'd suggest, and maybe this is a spider sense, I'd love to see these people get a bonus, or friendly cash stipend from the corporation or ownership, because of how they reflect and represent the brand. Often times, there is a core brand, then it franchises, and then the value of what they're trying to sell, gets watered down. So I feel the Cubit St gang, gets about as close as they can to mirroring wherever home quarters is, and that's a feat. So, out of hope, it'd be cool to see these people get some liquid cash to bless them up, for simply being who they are, not for how many services or additional services they sell, to get any bonuses. Just a thought. I try and tip them, and I have to tell them it's for the coffee shop nearby, to get some caffeine for their day, just to accept. Long story short, I like these guys allot! I hope the company appreciates what they have in their employees, and I think they are capable of being a good place to harvest future leaders for the franchises. I hope they are extending options or possibilities to their people. As long as I'm close enough, I'll maintain being a customer and fan of this location. Well done!
