- CRCathy Rau5 days ago5.0I was able to get right in upon arrival at Valvoline on Cubit Street in Eugene. The guys were very friendly, professional and informative. They changed my oil and took care of my transmission service in a fast and efficient manner. I was updated on other services that I could take care of in future. I had a coupon that was applied and feel I got a good value for the service.

I went the next day to a mechanic and he said I had a VERY MINOR oil leak, but he also noticed that they only filled my car up with about a quarter of an inch of oil. They tried to scam me, and this was not the first time I’ve had an issue with them

After discussing it with multiple people who know about these things, I realized I'd been upsold synthetic oil-that was not only innappropriate for my older vehicle, I'm lucky it didnt destroy it. They also told me I had a tail light out, and offered to replace it for a fee. I declined, because I'd just installed new bulbs. There were no lights out. They should've used the oil recommended by the manufacturer. They put my vehicle at risk, for a few extra bucks.
