On Friday night and into Saturday morning, I found myself stranded in downtown Eugene with a flat tire on my beloved Porsche Boxster. I won't go into the whole sordid story of how she ended up being flat-bedded three blocks to the Goodyear store, but that's exactly what happened. The tow truck carefully set her down in a parking spot right in front of the store. Knowing they opened at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, I caught an Uber home, worried about my baby sitting out there all alone.
At 8:00 that morning, I called the store and was greeted by a customer service angel named Andrew.
The first thing he told me was, "Yes, we have your car, and I've already looked you up in the system."
Then came the bad news: they didn't have the summer tires my Boxster needed, and he couldn't locate them through their suppliers. Rather than simply telling me I was out of luck, Andrew went above and beyond. He spent the next couple of hours helping me search for tires, checking every possible option and genuinely trying to solve the problem.
In the end, we discovered that my car didn't actually have run-flat tires on it after all. After doing a little research, I decided to switch to all-season tires instead—something Goodyear could provide. Problem solved!
"Brownsugah" (yes, that's her name) spent the weekend at the Goodyear store, and Andrew assured me she'd be kept safe and sound inside the maintenance bay. When I returned Monday afternoon, there she was in all her glory with four brand-new all-season tires, a fresh alignment, and ready to hit the road. Andrew took the time to explain everything they had done and made sure I was completely taken care of.
This is probably the third or fourth time I've purchased tires from the Goodyear store on Charnelton—those sporty tires don't last nearly long enough! Every experience has been positive, but this one was exceptional.
Andrew's kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile turned what could have been a stressful experience into one that reminded me what outstanding customer service looks like. Thank you, Andrew, and thank you to the entire Goodyear team for taking such great care of both me and Brownsugah. I'll definitely be back.

Staff were awesome, and eager to answer any and all questions. They went out of their way to show me everything about tires and changed them on the car very efficiently. Would recommend to anyone.
Goodyear tire doesn't just have good service it has a great quality tire. My wife and I both drive 30k miles a year and have found that for the price thier tires last the longest and they preform great!!

Beware of this place!
I had 4 New tires mounted on New wheels in the bed of my truck (I bought them from a friend that they didn’t fit after purchasing online). So,I wanted those New tires dismounted from the New wheels they were on, and the New tires mounted on the wheels that were already on the truck. Take the old tires put them in the bed of my truck along with the New wheels so I can post the old tires and New wheels on Marketplace or Craigslist for a few hundred dollars (old tires were $250 each when I bought them new 6 years ago now $380 each). They were in good shape, had lots of tread left, no punctures ever, and I don’t drive the truck much at all, so maybe 15k miles max on the old ones. I just wanted to go with a less aggressive tire. I approved the $300 for Goodyear to take the New tires/wheels in the bed of the truck and install the New tires onto the wheels that where already on the truck, So, I would be taking home a loose set of 4 New wheels and 4 Used tires.
When I got home I was taking photos of the Used tires to put them up for sale. Then I see Goodyear had torn a large chunk out of one used tires I was posting for sale. The day after noticing what they had done I called to see what had happened and what they would do to make it right. The person on the phone told me that the manager was out but he would call me back. The manager called me back soon after, right away he admitted that they had damaged the tire and sorry that no one had told me. He offered no refund of the $300 that I spent for the work. He offered no resolution other than it’s not their fault as this happens on old tires and sorry about that. (I have never had this happen before).
I think this place has forgotten they are in the customer service industry, and they are very bad at it. I will not take any future business there and will not recommend anyone go there.
Today (this is what made me finally write the review) I noticed one of the tires is mounted backwards from the 3 other tires so all 4 sidewalls don’t even match! Now I will have to pay a new mount and balance fee somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Awesome service!! Andrew Humphries Answered all my questions, quick and professional. Thanks guys, I'll be back for another alignment later this year 😎👍🏼
