I purchased a 2020 BMW 330i xDrive from Audi Eugene. After getting it home and washing it, my professional detailer’s eye caught what had not been disclosed during the sale: extensive repaint and bodywork across multiple areas of the car. This was not one nicely repaired panel or a little cosmetic touch-up. I found evidence of repainting on the left rear quarter extending into the pillar, trunk lid, hood, and roof. There was also obvious body filler. The workmanship included dry clear coat in the door jamb, sanding pigtails, inconsistent texture, poor gloss, compound residue in seams, and badges reinstalled over old adhesive. The car looked acceptable at a casual glance, but closer inspection told a completely different story. I subsequently took the BMW to a reputable local body shop. Their professional assessment confirmed that the car had undergone extensive prior body and paint repair and that the condition was not simply normal cosmetic wear on a used vehicle. They even refused the potential business to address the issues due to their observations. The dealership ultimately took the BMW back, which was appropriate. However, their proposed resolution before unwinding the deal was hot garbage: a straight swap into a 2024 Audi with fewer total miles, but substantially more miles accumulated per year. It was not the car I chose, and I considered it a materially inferior substitute for what I specifically wanted from the BMW. I was told the Audi represented roughly $1,400 off its list price—as though allowing the dealership to retain a profit while placing me in a compromise vehicle was some meaningful concession. For approximately $4,000 off the Audi, I might have considered accepting that compromise. Their actual offer did not come close. The manager made remarkably little effort to produce a resolution that accounted for the BMW’s condition, the wasted time, the unnecessary credit inquiry, or the fact that I was now materially worse off through no fault of my own. I understand that used vehicles can have prior paintwork. I also understand the difference between an acceptable repair and a poorly refinished car with defects spread across several panels and obvious filler. Buyers deserve enough information to make that decision before signing—not after taking the car home and needing a body shop to confirm what happened. The transaction was eventually reversed, but the overall experience was disappointing, unnecessarily aggravating, and handled with far less care than I expected from a dealership representing Audi. Based on this experience, I will not do business with Audi Eugene—or any other Sheppard Auto Group dealership—again.

JJ, my service manager/representative was outstanding. He is highly professional, personally engaged, and a very responsive communicator. He and the Audi Eugene service team discovered and repaired my mechanical issue with my Q7 — something that another Audi dealership was unable to do. I will be an Audi Eugene customer for life and will always ask to work with JJ.

I drove over from Central Oregon to Eugene Audi to buy a car for my wife. I had done some online searching and found that Eugene Audi had a huge assortment of both new and used cars, in many makes and models. I was specifically looking for an Audi and they had lots to choose from. My salesman Mike Deal was so know and helpful during my afternoon there. We drive a few Aidis and he knew about all the vehicles technology and equipment. He had great recommendations on models that fit my needs and wants. By the end of the afternoon I drove back home with a beautiful Q5 for my wife. Everyone at Audi Eugene was great and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used car to give them a try. Huge shout out to Mike and Dominic.

DON’T BUY A VEHICLE HERE!!! The sales and finance teams were excellent, which is the only reason this review isn’t directed at them. They were professional, knowledgeable, and made the buying process easy. Unfortunately, everything after the sale has been extremely disappointing. My girlfriend purchased her very first vehicle here on May 5, and I also purchased my Audi the same day. We expected that if any issues came up after the sale, the dealership would stand behind their customers. Instead, we’ve spent months trying to get simple follow-up and communication. Since May 5, we’ve been trying to get help with issues involving my Audi’s remote start and my girlfriend’s Q5. We were told someone would contact the Audi representative and follow up with us. That never happened. The biggest issue has been communication. Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails aren’t returned, and even managers and upper management have failed to return multiple calls. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend this much money on premium vehicles only to be ignored once the paperwork is signed. If you’re shopping for an Audi, I’d recommend making the drive to the Beaverton Audi dealership instead. I have several friends who have purchased vehicles there, and they’ve consistently had outstanding customer service both during and after the sale. Based on our experience, I wish we had gone there instead. Buying a vehicle is only part of the ownership experience. How a dealership treats its customers after the sale is what really matters, and unfortunately this dealership has completely failed us in that regard. Also to the “ Audi owner “ that comments under these please don’t comment “call this number to help add more on to my review “😂 probably will have to leave a voicemail for the review team and that phone call won’t get returned either 😂
