  I want to recognize the truly outstanding service my family and I have received from the Alamo/Enterprise team at Eugene Airport, especially Kelsey, the manager, and Juan, another member of the team who has taken great care of us. My family and I have been on ordered departure from the Middle East for several months, with Eugene serving as our alternate safe haven. We have been renting two vehicles from Alamo/Enterprise for the past six months. Because we don’t know when we will be able to return, we can’t commit to long-term rentals and have to rent in 25-day increments. We are also not reimbursed for our rental cars, so keeping the costs manageable has been important. This has been particularly challenging during peak season in Eugene, with the many track and field events bringing increased demand for rental cars. We’ve had to get creative several times just to make the rentals work. This is where Kelsey has really stood out. We’ve dealt with Kelsey several times, and most of those interactions have happened when he has been called in or had to step in to help solve what seemed like an impossible situation. Rather than simply telling us there was nothing he could do, Kelsey has taken the time to understand the situation, explain what he could and could not do from a business standpoint, and then work with us to find a solution. Every interaction with him has been professional, fair, patient, and extremely helpful. His solutions haven’t always been exactly what we wanted, but they have consistently been the best options available under the circumstances. More importantly, he has always made the effort to help. That willingness to step in and find a way forward has made a tremendous difference for my family during a very difficult and uncertain period. Juan also deserves recognition. We’ve interacted with him several times, and he has always been friendly, professional, and helpful in making sure we were taken care of. I never imagined my family and I would be renting two cars for six months, but the exceptional service we’ve received from Kelsey, Juan, and the Eugene Airport team has made the experience so much easier. They have earned our trust and, without question, our future business. We return to Eugene every summer, and Alamo/Enterprise has absolutely earned our lifelong business. Thank you, especially to Kelsey, for repeatedly stepping in when things seemed impossible and finding a way to make them work. That level of customer service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.

  U can rent a car and pay for it but they don’t actually have them waiting for you. Waited in a 20 min line to be told to wait some more to the side for cars to come in- watched other people behind me get cars , another 30 min of waiting.

  I got a brand new amazing Toyota RAV that was both electric and gas. It was beautiful drove great and I had a lot of fun in it. It was a great car and I definitely recommend Alamo.

  Hopefully I can save at least one person a headache by not having them rent with Alamo. Find another company. Even though they are, I believe, maybe under the same umbrella, the company I've always had better experience with is Enterprise. Had to rent a car twice in one week from Alamo at the Eugene airport. They had the best rates and each time they 'held' a $300 deposit. It's been over a week and they still have not released the $600 back to my card. Talked to the lady at the Alamo counter she said they release it the same day you return the car, called customer service they said it takes 3 to 5 days. Still waiting! During my second rental, upon returning it, I filled up the gas tank and topped it off, then drove less than 10 MI to return it to the airport. The return employee said I owed $8.85 for gas even though I just filled it up. He said he would talk to his boss and have it removed. I was still charged $8.85. Every employee I talk to tells me something different and nothing goes the way they say it will. UPDATE: I have gone online and chatted with customer service like the person from Alamo who responded to my review suggested. That did not resolve my request of having my money return to my card so I called customer service. A lady said she would look into it and put me on hold for 15 minutes and 37 seconds, then got back on the line and said she couldn't hear me and hung up. My money still was not returned to my card. I called back again the person I spoke to said he is sending a request to the billing department and that I would receive an email and somebody would get back to me very shortly. No one got back to me. I called again and spoke with a customer service rep who said he sees the hold on my card and it has been well over a week that it is still pending. I was told again that he was sending this to the billing department and the regional manager will get back in touch with me within 30 minutes and asked me to confirm my phone number. No one ever called me back. I asked to be transferred to the billing department he said no they will have to call me back. This is so frustrating Alamo REFUSES to return my deposit.
