The service department is amazing!! We had and issue going on with our Dodge Ram and of course were worried sick about what it could be and how much it would cost! The service department diagnosed and fixed the issue in only a couple of hours and they were extremely kind to the pocket book!!! They explained the issue in a way that my non mechanic brain could understand and they were professional and nice! I highly recommend using their service department.

Outstanding experience with Bay Area CJDR! Mike was an amazing salesperson — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He made everything easy and stress-free. Amanda was also incredibly efficient with the paperwork and kept everything moving smoothly and quickly. The whole team provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend Bay Area CJDR if you’re looking for a great car-buying experience!

Not what you would expect from a "reputable" dealership that claims they inspect their vehicles. I recently purchased a 2016 subaru impreza with a list price of $10,500. They told me they dropped the price to $8800 to accommodate my finances, and on the day of purchase Amanda the sales manager showed me that apparently they were only making $157 on the deal.
I felt like I was taken care of and got a good deal. Then 2 days later I was checking the car and found there was oil seepage into the coolant, an indication of potential engine failure and at the very least a 2000 job. Now I take responsibility that I failed to check the coolant when looking at the car, however this is something that a mechanic who did an inspection should have seen. I mean even the oil changers at Walmart check the coolant. I brought this to the attention of Tiffany, the saleswoman who sold me the car, who referred me back to Amanda to help me. I brought it in and the shop somewhat cleaned the reservoir and apparently flushed to coolant, ( I have my doubts.) I was told to monitor it over the next 500 miles and if I was not happy I could bring it back. The coolant used is supposedly a universal coolant, which upon further investigation can errode the aluminum of the subaru components. During the monitor time I found that the oil kept returning to the radiator and to top it off the horn did not work, which is not only a safety issue, but illegal to sell. After a couple of days I brought the car back in and told Amanda what I had gathered and asked if they would fix any thing. She said they would fix the horn but absolutely would not fix anything else as its a used vehicle and very directly told me that I was being a "google mechanic" and that because she doesn't know about the mechanics of the car she trusts the people who went to school for it to tell her what is wrong, and basically so should I. (These are the same technicians who didnt catch that oil was seeping into the radiator and that the horn didnt work).
She then told me that they lost 1700 dollars selling it to me. Which we all know is a lie. No business is going to do that, as well as the fact that that would mean that they purchased the car for 10,500 which they would not have done on a trade in blue booked high end $8200. And that's if they got it from a trade in. It cost less if the got it from auction.
When I asked her if she was going to send it to auction she said that they were probably going to fix it and try to sell it for more money than what they could sell it to me for.
(Or maybe they are not going to do anything but wash it and put it back on the lot for the next customer)
She tried to make it sound like they had helped me out because they knew I was going to start a job the following week with a big commute, and im in a financial bind.
It is R.E.A.L. clear they dont care about REAL members of their community.

Review for the service department: they all need a lot of training. Horrible customer service starting with not knowing how to print an estimate to changing the scheduled time for next appointment and not telling us. Also having us come in to do a repair and calling us two hours later to tell us they don’t even have the part in while they already had our jeep there. We will not buy a jeep again because we don’t want to deal with the service department.

Very professional. Service estimate was presented and the agreed work was done satisfactorily. The service team is courteous, explained everything and they advised that repairs would take a week. They provided a loaner which was awesome and work was completed as promised, on time and just under the estimate. Very happy with Michael & his team in the service department.
