  I was doubtful cause big chain services are never my fave, but whoever they had running the upstairs operation, she had blonde hair and tattoos on her forearms, was really amazing. Not only coordinating and communicating the procedures taking place, but problem solving for her coworkers when weird stuff came up and encouraging them to be safe if anything was more iinvolved. It was a lot of different technical skills practiced with the patience needed to do it right and stay safe. I doubt her level of excellence is exceptionally common so you all should probably pay her lots of money if you aren't already.

  put our filter back incorrectly, causing us to skip our holiday festivities because the noise our car was making was extemely alarming. Please pay more attention to detail so we can leave our oil change with peace of mind. We will not be going here again.

  I enjoyed my recent experience and will return to Valvoline. The crew was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, and the work seems to have been done well. My only note is that I usually expect a basic safety check on lights, wiper blades, tire pressure, and similar items. That was not done, other than the tire pressure... which was checked only after I asked. The staff also did not seem very familiar with the air filter. My truck is a bit older, but the systems are still fairly standard. I am not upset at all, but the safety-check portion of the service is important to me.
