  I am writing to formally notify you of significant damage that I recently discovered to the front portion of my vehicle’s hood. The damage includes a substantial crack along the leading edge of the hood, which appears severe enough that a portion of the hood may be at risk of separating or breaking off entirely. The vehicle involved is a Toyota Camry, license plate 617LSK. The service was performed at the location at 2719 Pacific Blvd SE, Albany, OR 97321. To the best of my knowledge, the only recent occasion in which the hood was opened was during the oil change service performed at your facility on April 28, 2026. During that visit, I observed the hood being closed with what appeared to be an unusual and excessive amount of force. Given the nature and location of the damage, I have concerns that the damage may have occurred while the vehicle was in your care, custody, and control. I also have photographs documenting the damage, which clearly show that the crack is located directly along the front portion of the hood. Accordingly, I respectfully request that you preserve and review any available security camera footage, service records, or related documentation from the date of service to determine whether the incident was captured or whether additional information may clarify how the damage occurred. Although I did not receive an emailed receipt following the appointment, I have confirmed the date of service through my credit card statement reflecting the transaction on April 28, 2026. Please advise regarding the appropriate next steps for addressing this matter. If I am unable to answer by phone, please reach out to me by email, as I work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. I would appreciate a timely response and resolution to this matter.

  Been going to Valvoline for years, the last three times I’ve ended up with an oil leak. First time I contacted Valvoline and took it back and was told the transmission was leaking, took it straight to the transmission shop to find out the oil filter was not the right fit for the vehicle and had a faulty gasket. second time, different vehicle, same thing noticed a leak, crawled underneath to find a lose oil filter. Now recently I’m noticing spots of oil, look under and seeing oil dripping from the filter. I was told by mechanics that these filters are the cheapest filters on the market and often fail.

  I went to Valvoline April 2 for an oil change. They checked my lights and I needed 2 new brake lights which they changed for me. I also got my windshield wipers done as they were needing to be replaced. The service was quick and friendly. I returned on April 7 to have my radiator flushed and my entire fuel injection system cleaned. Both services cost $139.99 each which was cheaper than my mechanic by about $40 a piece. The only issue I had was that I got two different set of directions on how often and how hard to press on my accelerator and how high to go in RPM in order to clear out my exhaust. I also got my cabin air filter replaced as it had been a while. My car is running smooth now and I would recommend Valvoline to others.
