  I travel a lot and rent cars pretty often, and this was my first time renting with Sixt. Unfortunately, it was a pretty terrible first experience, and I would not book with them again or recommend them to others. 1.) they charge an additional $15 PER DAY for a second driver. In all my years of renting cars, this was the first time I’ve ever had to pay to add my spouse as a driver. That was another $75 on top of the $250+ I had already paid for a 5-day rental. We were in town because my sister-in-law had recently passed away and we were there to prepare for her funeral, so I paid it because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of finding another rental company. Had I known about this ridiculous fee beforehand, I would have booked elsewhere. 2.) they didn’t have the SUV I specifically booked. I booked a RAV4 because we knew we’d be driving all over town and wanted something fuel-efficient. I understand the “or similar” disclaimer, but the SUV we were given was noticeably less fuel-efficient than a RAV4, which defeated one of the main reasons I chose that vehicle. 3.) the vehicle didn’t even have a full tank of gas. About a quarter of the tank had already been used, and we didn’t notice until we were already on the freeway. We had also prepaid for gas at the desk, so finding out we weren’t even starting with a full tank was extremely frustrating. Why are customers being given vehicles that aren’t properly refueled? 4.) finally this particular Sixt location isn’t attached to the Tulsa airport like most of the other rental companies. You have to take a shuttle from the airport. To be fair, the shuttle was efficient and only took about 5 minutes, but it’s still less convenient than the other rental options at the airport. I expressed my disappointment to the attendant, Seth, about the second-driver fee and the unavailable RAV4. He was nice and said he would let his manager know, and that someone should contact me the next day. It’s now been 5 days and I still haven’t heard from the manager. That lack of follow-up just added to an already disappointing experience. Seth did his best and was not at fault for any of these issues, so I appreciate his customer service. Unfortunately, the overall experience with Sixt was terrible. Between the unexpected fees, not getting the vehicle I booked, receiving a vehicle without a full tank, and the manager completely failing to follow up, I would most likely never book with Sixt again.

  Great rental co inside Fine Airport Parking. Top quality cars, and staff was very helpful and professional. The whole experience was hassle free

  Seth is such a helpful gentleman and great at customer service. It was absolutely wonderful experience and treat to get a service from SIXT rental Tulsa International airport and definitely be returning to rent with SIXT a lot more in the future.

  Great first experience with Sixt! I rented a car online for my trip to Tulsa. It was my first time using Sixt, and I hadn't realized that the location would be closed by the time my flight arrived. However, a Sixt employee named Jessica waited for us to arrive just so she could hand over the car keys. She was extremely friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Definitely an exceptional car rental experience!
