  To summarize an experience today, I'd say flashy , but cheap." Normally, Maverick clerks have acknowledged when I'd come through the door with a welcome greeting from wherever they may be in the store at the time. That didnt happen today. Behind the counter were two young trainees, an older trainer, manager, and visiting manager off duty behind them. One person was also busy baking goods for the evening. While puring a fountain drink, I didnt know their flavor spritzers came out a more forward dispenser. I accidentally sprayed the counter with blue blueberry liquid. I couldn't locate pepper within reach but finally got up the liquid, which seemed to be staining the counter. I quickly told the young man working behind the front counter and recieved a response as to not bother. I got my items to check out, the young lady worker asked "card or cash", but after two attempts to hear her over the store, the trainer repeated it louder for me. She checked me out and picked up her phone. The trainer asked if Id like a small bag for my gum pack and beef jerky. I said yes, I appreciate him asking, and left. These two younger trainees need a talking to. Dont give more attention to your private life while around customers, and deal with potentially permanent stains with utmost speed. This location only stays in order because of the work. The locations and colors of the napkin dispensers could be better; the drunk counter needs to be treated to resist sold liquids like blue blueberry spritzers; the pizza turn tables is fun, but it takes three steps and looking around, to figure out how to get pizza. "Flashy, but cheap" has been my unfortunate experience at the 101st and Mingo location today. I'll look forward to the weekend staff.

  We just went in to get a couple soft drinks and the worker was so helpful to get us the syrup mix ins we wanted and when we went to pay he said it was on the house because of how hot of a day it was today! So kind and truly made our day!!

  This kind gentleman got us sugar free syrups that were out and napkins for a small spill. Above and beyond! Then at the checkout he came up and said drinks were on the house because it was a hot day!! Maverik>QT everyday:)

  Maverick has expanded from the west to our area of the country. Maverick is a great convenience store with an on site kitchen that makes many of their food options on site.
