  While the RVs here are decently priced, the customer service after you buy is terrible. It feels like they only care about you until they get your money, and then you are treated like a stranger. I am currently stuck trying to get my title, and they refuse to answer or return my calls. On top of that, the extra package you get that includes basic rv essentials was very expensive, I had to wait weeks just to get it. i work as travaeljng electrician , definitely woud not recommend to any co workers

  Our salesman Mr. Robert was very helpful. He has so much patience and knowledge of this business. He is a joy to work with. I’m glad I chose Tulsa camp world to do business with. Mr. Robert, yall ask for him.

  Have been told to steer clear of camping world SEVERAL times. Thought I would give you a chance and went to look at a used Class A pusher. Drove 4 hours to see what I thought looked like a nice coach in photos. Low and behold, zero history on the unit, no car fax info, batteries and tires expired, low voltage fault on water heating system, frame damage, slide damage with bent rails, rear motor hatch won’t even open due to damage, zero inspections by Camping World. Go inside, ignition switch hanging out from under the dash, previous owners sheets are still on both beds, tooth brushes and tooth paste in bathroom cabinet, and the fridge is horrible. But you gladly wanted to sell me a 10k warranty. Took all of 20 minutes to walk out. Wow, what a disappointment! Will definitely never, EVER, do business with you. They were right and I should have listened, just glad I didn’t spend any money to learn this lesson.

  We found a camper in Arkansas that we wanted and put down a $1,000 deposit. The camper was at Camping World in Tulsa for an entire WEEK before our scheduled appointment. My husband made an appointment for 9:00 Friday morning. I was already pre-approved, and they had already shown me payment options before I arrived. When I got there, those payment options were completely different. We live two hours from Tulsa, and the campground where the camper was going is another hour away. My husband brought our trade-in early because we were specifically told it would take about an hour for them to go through it. I arrived about 40 minutes later with four dogs in my vehicle, trying to make the process as quick as possible. By 10:00 a.m., my husband had toured the camper and told them we wanted it. I toured it shortly afterward and told them the same thing. There was absolutely no question that we were buying it. Yet somehow, I didn’t finish signing paperwork until 12:40 p.m. THEN they told us we had another 2½–3 HOUR WAIT because they needed to inspect the camper to make sure everything worked. Seriously? The camper had been sitting at Camping World for an entire week. Why wasn’t this inspection done BEFORE we arrived to pick it up? We were also told they were going to detail it. At that point, I told them to just mop and clean it because I had four dogs sitting in the car and I was ready to get home. During this last-minute inspection, they discovered that a slide didn’t work and had to replace a motor/chain or whatever the problem was. We’re glad they fixed the problem, but again — why wasn’t this discovered during the WEEK they had the camper? By around 4:00 p.m., my husband had understandably had enough. We were told that the manager’s boss at the Tulsa location didn’t want them spending approximately $2,000 of Camping World’s money detailing and going through the camper until they knew we were actually buying it. Here’s the problem: WE TOLD THEM BEFORE 10:00 A.M. THAT WE WERE BUYING IT. So apparently they were more concerned about saving Camping World money than respecting our time. My husband finally arrived at the campground at approximately 7:00 p.m. He spent basically the ENTIRE DAY sitting at Camping World waiting for a camper that should have been ready to leave hours earlier. This wasn’t our first camper purchase. It’s our THIRD. And without a doubt, this was the worst buying experience we’ve ever had. Things break. Repairs happen. We understand that. What we DON’T understand is the complete lack of communication, organization, and respect for our time. If Camping World had inspected the camper during the WEEK it was sitting there, this entire situation could have been avoided. After all that waiting, the camper was DIRTY, NOT SANITIZED, AND THE MATTRESS WAS USED. I was under the impression from Camping World’s advertising/commercials that campers were supposed to be sanitized and that mattresses were replaced. If that’s not actually the case, then customers need to be given a very clear explanation of what they are—and are not—getting. Instead, we drove two hours to Tulsa, waited around all day, dealt with changing financing/payment options, and watched our entire Friday disappear while they did something that should have been done BEFORE our appointment. If you’re considering buying a camper from Camping World Tulsa, be prepared to spend your entire day there — even if you have an appointment, you’re pre-approved, you’ve already agreed to buy the camper, and the camper has been sitting on their lot for a week. After three camper purchases, I can honestly say: I would not recommend Camping World Tulsa, and I will think long and hard before ever doing business with Camping World again.

  Tulsa’s Camping World is the real deal. They had prepared the unit I wanted to see and were extremely knowledgeable and eager to answer every question. Darian, my salesperson, was professional, upbeat, and excited to help me understand what I was looking at and if it would work with my tow vehicle. This is my 4th RV purchase, buying from both Camping World and blue Compass. The reason for two different dealers is simple. I bought my first unit 10 years ago from a young, super energetic, and passionate sales manager named Dustin Works. I didn’t care where Dustin worked, I just knew that I wasn’t going to buy from anyone other than this man of character and unyielding commitment to excellence and customer service. I’ve driven hundreds of miles more than a few times to deal exclusively with Dustin. Camping World needs to do whatever it takes to keep this man happy because he’s going to treat every customer, subordinate, and supervisor with the same level of respect he’s shown me. He’s as good a man I know and I’m blessed to call him my friend.
