  I’ve been a long standing customer for 20 years or more. Unfortunately the relationship has come to an end because of negligence on this company’s part. After dealing with an issue where one of the technicians didn’t bolt down my skid plate after my oil change , which occurred back in December 2025. This caused my plate to fly off while on the highway heading to Dallas the following day. It took Valvoline till May of 2026 to get my replacement in, and even with that they didn’t get me the original part from Lincoln they ordered a part off of Amazon for my replacement. This is after multiple visits, emails and calls. In which I received not one call back, nor email. A week after they put the replacement on within the next 5 days I was on the highway and could hear something dragging under my car, and guess what that was? Afterwards I went back so they could put it back on, and every 3 or 4 days it comes back down.This issue has been time consuming, stressful, and very inconvenient. The new manager Daniel did manage to put it up but it comes right back down a day or two later. Daniels patience with me has been very short considering I’ve only interacted with him twice. If anyone’s patience should be shot it should be mines after 8 months. I’ve never been rude nor obnoxious, but definitely a bit flustered under the circumstances. Daniel took it upon himself to deny my claim because of him being tired of me returning each week. Now he’s saying it’s something I’m doing to make it keep coming down. Which honestly pissed me off, I’m 50 years old and I’m not sure what game he thinks I have time to play. He gave me 15% off coupon for 8 months of waisting my time, and gas. At least the previous managers were more empathetic to the issue and didn’t try to shew me away. They were genuinely concerned. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out the hole is stripped but instead of them fixing the issue the correct way they would rather put a bandage on it just covering it up temporarily. However now they won’t even do that because of Daniel. The only thing I wanted was my car back like it was when I brought it to them and I can’t even get that. So now I’m driving around with the plate hanging under my car where it’s visible. I have a nice car and I shouldn’t have to deal with that due to someone else’s negligence!!
