  Isiah and the people who changed my oil were very cordial, polite and quick. They explained what was needed and changed my filter. Isiah was knowledgeable and so were the others. Once completed, they waved me off and invited me back next time. Very welcoming. Love this store. New fav.

  This Valvoline RUINED MY CAR. Since there isn’t a negative star option, 1-star will have to do. I just hope others see this and decide not to trust their vehicle with this company. On July 24th, I took my car in for an oil change. The service took about 20 minutes and when they finished, they told me to start my car. A warning came on that said there was too much oil in my car. I told them and he said “drive it for a bit and it will go off.” I got out and turn onto Douglas. When my car shifted, it lurched so I immediately turned around. I told them I wasn’t going to drive it like that and they said “no problem, we’ll redo it”. They did the service again. When they finished they told me to start it. When I pushed the ignition the engine kicked, and there sounded like a small explosion. Smoke everywhere. I said “i think you blew my engine.” They told me they would look at it. After about an hour, with raised voices underneath, a new manager that just got there came and told me that they had drained my transmission and double filled my oil. They promised they would “Make it right”. They towed it to the dealership. The dealership came back and said the engine was blown and no idea on the transmission because they can’t test it. The damage to this point was $23,000. No one from valvoline called me for three days. I called Monday and was connected to Cody, the manager. I told him the car is totaled and he assured me they were liable and would repair it. He said the dealership quote was ridiculous and asked to move my car to a valvoline mechanic so they could do the job at half the price. I said absolutely not. You’re not moving my car to another mechanic to put some engine that I had no idea where it came from in my car. He said “you wouldn’t trust a valvoline mechanic to put in a new motor?” I told him I don’t trust a valvoline mechanic to change my oil any more, much less trust him/her with my engine. He told me he’d have to call me back. On Wednesday, the 29th, he said they’d have to file an insurance claim. I called on Thursday and they said they had filed the claim that day (30th). On Friday I called their insurance (travelers) to get the claim number and was told they had no claim filed for me. I called valvoline and Cody said he absolutely filed a claim but didn’t have a claim number. He said he would get it and call me back. He didn’t. I have no car. They refused to get me a rental car (told me I could pay for one and submit for reimbursement). Their communication is virtually non-existent. At this point if I don’t hear back on Monday, I’ll be forced to hire an attorney. It’s just so pathetic that a company that makes $4 million a day nation wide can’t do what’s right and make sure they over communicate with someone they wronged in this way.
