- AJAlyssa Justice4 days ago1.0Stopped here Friday 8/29 to get an oil change before leaving for an out-of-state trip. They added 6 quarts of oil and told me to start my car… THEN the tech underneath the car said, “Wait, we didn’t drain the old oil first.” 🤦♀️ Thank God he caught it, because my car would’ve had around 12 quarts of oil in it! That wasn’t the only issue. They didn’t top off my windshield washer fluid, didn’t check my air filter, but marked on my paperwork that they did. They also overfilled my tires with air, and my car was driving funny. I ended up stopping at the BP down the road to check them myself. At that point, I decided I better check the oil too because clearly I couldn’t trust that everything had been done right. Sure enough, there was about a quart too much oil in it. I had to call my mechanic to make sure it was okay to drive since I was already on my way out of state. I’m just thankful that one of the techs actually caught the first mistake before I drove away!!! Thankfully, I don’t live in Zanesville, so I won’t have to worry about these idiots changing my oil again. Definitely won’t be going back!
