I was at the E. Broad location the afternoon of Oct 15. This feedback is both for the team and the Area Manager that apparently told this team that while understaffed they are “doing just fine” and to run 3 bays. They were not doing fine running 3 bays. My visit from start to finish was right around 2 hours. At no point did anyone come to the waiting cars to direct to bays or learn which services were needed (that has been my typical experience with Valvoline). The bays were running pretty slow so the parking lot was getting quite backed up. At one point someone came to do the tires for the single next car waiting in Bay 1 (I assume to ease the time of each car in the bay) but then, that person did no other vehicles in line and also no one else did them. Then a truck got towed in to the lot and suddenly a few workers were over there with that situation for a little while. If my understanding of the staffing was correct, why did it take so many people there if you have a full lot waiting for the bays? Once in the bays, I could see how things were not running smoothly. Logan pulled the guy off of my car to have a coaching conversation (in front of the customers!). No judgement if someone is training, but they should still be shadowing if that’s the case rather than adding to wait times when that busy. No one seemed to be doing a great job at communicating what still needed done in each bay. They tried to have me pull out before there was even an air check on my tires. It felt messy. It felt unprofessional. I was very disappointed coming back to Valvoline after not having been for awhile. As a customer who was sandwiched in a middle bay line for that long, I will be thinking again before going back. I would also like to add, at no point did the website reflect the wait times. Thank you for reading.

They were fast, friendly. They answered all my questions. The parking lot was nice and clean. They checked all my lights. Checked air pressure of my tires. Checked my battery. They got me in and out fast.

The air filter and lighting inspections were initially overlooked until I brought them to your attention; otherwise, the service provided was satisfactory.

The manager on morning duty was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. The entire team was also nice, friendly, and welcoming. I really appreciated the great customer service!

I get my regular oil changes taken care of here at the E Broad St location here in Whitehall. As per usual, communication and service from the guys here was great, even early on a Saturday morning 😉
