  Was recommended by State Farm to get a quote from the Westerville Northfield Road Gerber location. Severe damage to the front quarter panel and door on the driver side of my 2021 Kia Sportage. Picked it up yesterday the car looked like the day that I bought it. Completely washed, vacuumed and spotless inside. Extremely friendly office staff and damage estimator. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend Gerber Body Shop on Northfield Road in Westerville, Ohio.

  I have used gerber before many times and trust their work, so that is not in question and I still would recommend them to anyone! What I don’t appreciate is the way Ron spoke with me on the phone when trying to get my truck repaired. I was told by the insurance company that they were sending in all of the information to Gerber Westerville, and that I just needed to call and set up the time, the first time I called , I spoke with a women who was nice and respectful and asked for me to have the information sent via email, then once I did I called back and got Ron. His snooty candor on the phone was shocking for someone to speak to a customer who was trying to give them business.. his attitude was horrible.. I hope someone speaks with him because they have unfortunately just lost a customer from that experience. I was simply trying to get my truck fixed and was going off the information I was provided. Again, Gerber does great work, Ron is the issue here.

  Terrific shop! My car is less than a year old, fewer than 5,000 miles, and was backed into in a parking lot. Only cosmetic damage, but still saddening. USAA insurance sent me to Gerber and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Ron was very transparent with the estimate and what the process entails (I ask a lot of questions). He kept me informed of progress several times per week during the fix. It was even ready earlier than estimated so I didn't have to keep driving my tiny rental car an extra weekend! The car was presented to me cleaner and shinier than the day I drove it off the dealer lot. Would definitely recommend Gerber! [I can't comment on costs since insurance paid the entire thing].

  DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! I hit a deer and went to my usual service center but they couldn't get me in for weeks. I chose Gerber because my insurance had them on their list. Mistake. It started ok with customer svc rep Ron but soon it fell apart as their estimated day of completion fluctuated every time they gave an update. Tried to clarify I needed to be out of town but rep didn't see a problem. The finish date changed y 3 days back and forth and each time I needed a def date he argued that it didn't matter, that it was an automated email and they weren't required to give a firm date. He never offered to talk to the guys in the shop. I stayed in town for other emergency reasons but when I went to pick up the car, the R fender and door frame panels didn't fit together by about 1/2". He argued with my concern, saying since the impact was on the left side of the car and the faulty panels were on the right side, it was kind a freebie for him to go ahead and replace the right front fender anyway. But that too is wrong - the deer hit just a bit right of center. He then asked why I answered the Insurers Feedback form w a negative review. And I told him I was in customer service and I would never treat a customer like he was in my case. AND... When I got the car home I realized the shift lock cover on the console was missing. I didn't want any more contact with him or the organization. Then a couple days later the door handle key cover came off. And now I have extreme body rot on the left side of the car. That extreme rust wasn't there before leaving my car w them. Def a long review but bottom line: STEER CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS unless you just want to argue and get poor quality work
