  Seamless and stress-free. Alamo representatives were friendly and easy to work with. Everything came off without a hitch, which I deeply appreciated as someone who has had bad experiences with rentals in the past.

  I had a great experience renting a car both at the counter and at the pickup site at the Dayton international Airport. Plus the car was a great rental also.

  BEWARE of Alamo/Enterprise shared space at this location Rented a car here for a wedding, and decided to use my own insurance instead of paying for theirs. When I returned the car On Sunday early morning. There were NO scratches, NOTHING--however, the attendant wasn't there to check me in, since I had to drop off my car at 5:30 in the morning. but I was assured that they would check in the car at 6:45. Turns out they did not bother to check the car till Tuesday, when they attempted to lease it out to another renter. Now they are claiming there was damage. It literally looks like someone bounced a FRIGGIN' BASKETBALL off the hood! There was absolutely nothing wrong with the car when I brought it back--pretty sure I would have noticed a basketball-sized dent on the FRONT HOOD! Of course they want ME to pay for it, AND because my insurance is refusing since the amount is below my deductible. Make sure you take your OWN PHOTOS when you return a car here so they don't RIP YOU OFF! I'm going to have to pay damaged for something I didn't do. And MORE IMPORTANTLY, this is an international airport, however, the attendants are refusing to ask to check for security. It is highly concerning that they are refusing to verify if this was employee error, vandalism or other maintenance issue. If it is vandalism in an airport parking lot, I would be frankly scared to fly in out and out of Dayton, Ohio with the state of affairs in the United States at this moment. Clearly there is no concern at this airport to have a security check with any personnel that is not approved to be on the grounds at this location. Picture included is not one I took. It's to show how FREAKING hard to miss this would have been considering this was on the driver side. I know I did not return this car in this condition.

  First time renting with Alamo. From booking my car online to an easy, fast return, I had an excellent rental experience with Alamo Dayton Airport. I loved the brand-new and very clean car I was issued. And when I called customer service to extend my rental, it was super easy. Everyone was very courteous and friendly, inviting me to choose Alamo again in the future. I definitely will! Best rates, best service.

  Not sure I would recommend using Alamo vehicle rental again. The windshield wipers were old, no wiper fluid, it rained often last week in Ohio and I drove several times with restricted vision. There was a marijuana vape in the rental car which could have cost me my medical license and tsa clearance. Or at the least been a court battle to prove it was not mine. Not a safe vehicle with restricted vision. Not safe traveling with possible marijuana vape in the car. Trying to explain to an Ohio state trooper the vape was not mine. How many time times do you think they have heard that. I work in emergency medicine. I know local law enforcement officers. Work with many medical people who travel often. I also work with tsa often using rental cars. What does Alamo do on this situation so I can share a positive response to my colleges both at the hospital and tsa? Thank you in advance for addressing this concern which can all be validated. The guy at Alamo when I returned the vehicle told me I could have replaced the windshield washer fluid. I used this airport twice in the last two weeks. Rented vehicles from Alamo both times flying to to Dayton. Not to bother family to pick is up or drop us off after visiting. I was there first time to visit my ailing mother. Last week for her funeral. I had no time to replace windshield washer fluid. It should have been full with a customer having to do it. Especially when home for a week to do all that was done. Not acceptable.
