- ERelectria roseSep 23, 20265.0Stopped in to get a programmer for my key fob and had the pleasure of meeting Sara. THE ABSOLUTE SWEETEST WOMAN! She helped me find the right programmer and made me fell super awesome when I came back in a told her it worked (different associate said it more than likely will not work as they have used it before). When I was deciding to buy the programmer she even gave me other options that could work as well, instead of purchasing it. I WILL BE RETURNING TO SEE SARA!

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
