  Check your coupons folks! I got one in the mail for an oil change + general health check for $59.99 and ended up receiving an "above and beyond experience". Shout-out to Rocky, Kyle, and Andrew. When I called I was able to get in same day. The oil change was perfect, but the follow up really set these guys apart. Rocky set the whole thing in motion, got me in quickly and gave me clear expectations. Andrew discovered issues with my vehicle and made notes for the rest of the crew, describing options to remedy problems before they worsened. Kyle gave me a full explanation of said notes and provided a step by step plan / things to look out for as the ravages of time affect my vehicle. Notably, there was no up selling, just a series actions that could be taken based on symptoms that have both occured and are likely to happen given my vehicle's condition. If you're on the fence, I'd say go here. If you're still apprehensive, chat with this crew and find out for yourself what I'm talking about.

  This is my second repair at Tuffy at 1640 Laskey Road, Toledo, OH. Once again, they were very fast, professional and their prices were very fair. I will go to Tuffy first! Thank you!

  absolutely skip this place. always trying to add on extra bulls- that doesn’t need done. took my car here 4 times in one week because they couldn’t fix the issue that they created. also they will try to make you pay before the job is even done so “the workers can get paid in this pay period.” they can’t wait to get your car in so they can charge you a ridiculous amount in labor and parts. place is a joke, especially the front desk man. don’t trust a word he says

  Came in for an alignment, 30 minutes later they called and said that they couldn't do the alignment and the issue was either due to the camber bolts or the struts. I immediately felt like something was fishy, so I took it to the mechanic I had been working with (just didn't have time for an alignment) and he explained that even if the car were horribly out of alignment, the issue would definitely not be in the camber or struts for a Subaru. I took it somewhere else and they did the alignment easily. After reading a few other reviews of folks with similar experiences about this Tuffy, I realized my experience was not unique. These guys definitely just saw me come alone as a young woman and assumed they could push unnecessary work on me. Complete scammers, do not support this business. What a shameful way to run a business.
