  Don't use safelite to get a small chip in the windshiled fixed. We paid $183 to get a very small chip filled where a rock had hit it on the highway, that they told us they can do, then they showed up today to fix it and left. My daughter went out to look at the vehicle and there was now a crack clear across the windshield and they just left a note with a phone number to call. Now they want us to pay for a whole new windshield when they were the ones to cause the crack clear across it. They said they could only give us a small discount on a new windshield and said that a crack can sometimes happen when they fix it but never told us that before it happened. We should have just fixed the small chip ourselves.
