Some of you may recognize Chip’s name - he is also the founder of Tire Discounters, the largest family-owned tire and automotive services retailer in the United States. Chip's Auto Glass started out as Tire Discounters Auto Glass, but hey, we're fixing auto glass and our owner's name is Chip. So we spun our own business name - Chip's Auto Glass! - GBGrace BarnettJul 23, 20265.0When I tell you this is the best place for glass replacement, I mean it. I live in an area where, unfortunately, car break-ins are very likely, and I’ve had my car broken into at least 6 times in the last 2 years. I can say, with absolute certainty, that I had the best experience AND the best price here. Seriously. They were so friendly and got me in within 2 hours of filling out a form online. So many places will advertise “same day,” but then quote you double Chip’s price for service 2-3days later. No thanks! Chip’s actually gets the job done quickly and at a great rate. I was in there for less than an hour! And the car was SPOTLESS! No glass anywhere! I cannot recommend this place enough. Take it from somebody who has been to a bunch of different glass repair: Chip’s is simply the best. No question. I cannot recommend it more. I hope this doesn’t happen to me again, but if it does, I can finally know that I have a place I can take my car to that’s quick, reasonably priced, and does a fantastic job.

What really impressed me was after my window was installed I was told there were a few scratches (which I would never have noticed). I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment 3 hours later. I was on a time crunch because of a doctor’s appointment and they were able to get it done with plenty of time to spare. The price is also very fair and was the best pricing when I looked around at other quotes. I would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone that needs glass repair done

Chips was the Best in the area for warranty, and price💯✅ The Sharonville store had my windshield installed in less than 30 mintues. I tested the windshield afterwards through a carwash no leaks. The windshield is quiet no whistle. All my safety cameras work normal. A free quote at least is highly recommended! Thank you again Chips. ✌️😬👍

If your vehicle is equipped with Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) like lane departure warning or adaptive cruise control, you will also need to have your vehicle's ADAS recalibrated when your windshield is replaced. Chip's Auto Glass can take care of it all.
What types of auto glass repair and replacement do you perform?

Will my insurance increase if I file a windshield claim?
It is not common for a windshield claim to increase insurance rate, but each insurance company is different.
How do I know if my windshield can be repaired?
If the crack is smaller than the size of a dollar bill, it is likely it can be repaired. Repairs will also depend on the location of the crack. If the crack is on the driver’s side and within their view, the windshield should be replaced.
Can I see a repair after it’s done?
Yes. Repairs are structural and are designed to ensure the crack does not deepen. A well-done repair will leave a small imperfection in the glass, which is why you should never perform a repair within the driver’s view.
How long does it take to replace a windshield?
Generally, it takes 2 hours for a windshield to be removed and installed.
Can I use my car as soon as a windshield is installed?
Driving after windshield installation depends on the type of adhesive that is used. Each adhesive has different dry times. A dry time defines the car’s safety to ride with that windshield, which must be secured. Top adhesives can dry in 30 minutes and other adhesives can take up to 24 hours. Dry time is crucial to rider safety and should always be followed.
Can I go through a carwash after I’ve had my windshield replaced?
The quality of adhesive used during a windshield replacement determines wait time prior to going through a car wash. Most adhesives will lead to a 24-48 hour wait before washing your vehicle.
Is an ADAS calibration required if my windshield is replaced?
Yes. All manufacturers require that the forward-facing camera be recalibrated if it has been moved or adjusted in any way upon windshield installation. This process generally takes an hour to recalibrate the car.
If my camera is not in the windshield, does the car still need to be calibrated.
Yes, the windshield is considered a lens and your manufacturer requires the eyesight system be recalibrated.
My sunroof is leaking. Does it have to replaced?
You should always bring your car to a glass expert identify the cause and location of the leak. In most cases, there is a drain tube that is clogged and needs to be freed of debris.
Do I have to call my insurance to get my windshield replaced?
No. You should choose the glass company of your desire, call them, and verify they have the correct credentials. This company can then help you file the claim with your insurance.
If I have aftermarket tint and my windshield is getting replaced, will the glass company re-tint my windshield?
No. When a windshield is replaced, it comes in its original equipment specifications. The windshield will need to be re-tinted after the replacement.
If my car requires new glass, will the glass company come to me or do I need to go to the glass company?
Most reputable glass companies will have an on-going option to either visit their shop or have a mobile service come to you- whichever option is most convenient for you.
