- ASAltaf Shaik2 days ago1.0Very expensive — please shop around before committing I called Lucore Automotive Services and spoke with Dave about replacing the front and rear brake rotors and pads. I explained that I would be supplying the rotors and pads myself and was only asking for the labor. I was quoted $800 plus tax for labor, with an estimated 5 hours of labor. I was also told I would have to pay additional shop-supply charges for any other necessary items. In my opinion, that is extremely expensive for this type of brake job and is comparable to dealership-level labor pricing. My advice is to do your due diligence and call a few other reputable shops for estimates before agreeing to the work. Prices can vary significantly, and it pays to compare. Please be careful and protect your hard-earned money. Stay safe and shop around.

Mad Hatter exhaust wanted double the money and didn’t even want to work on it bc it had a little exhaust putty on it. Anyways, don’t waste your time going to any other place for work on your vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend Lucore for all your auto mechanic needs!!!

- TFTracy FollowellMay 23, 20261.0Making this review again because my last review was deleted! I left a review a few years ago but it’s not to be found now. Don’t know if it’s Google or Lucore but I’d put money that Lucore complained to Google about my original review. Around March 2024 I took my 2017 Subaru Legacy in to get an oil leak looked at and was charged $115-$150 for the inspection. When Lucore contacted me they tried to say it was a head gasket leak and it would cost around $5,000 to fix. A head gasket problem on a 2017? Highly doubt that considering I’m anal about the maintenance of my car. I took the car to a Subaru dealership for a second opinion who said the problem was the valve covers not being secure. Maybe a couple hundred dollars and an hour of waiting and I was out the door. Lucore does not deserve to be open if they’re going to lie about services that are not needed. This business needs to be investigated for fraud.
