- MPMinnow POct 1, 20261.0I think I just talked to somebody on drugs working there
- BTBrandon TeetersSep 9, 20262.0They couldn't tell me what I needed. Then gave me a part without a gasket telling me I didn't need one. Went back for one. Was given a seal. And then I just went to o rileys
- DMDave M.Jan 3, 20264.0Removed my previous negative review which to this day I will say stressified but I did want to give an update going from a one star up to a four or even behind. That is very simple. Had a very good experience after calling another advance locations. Trying to get a year and a half your old battery warrantied one of your gold die hards nobody wanted to do the warranty and I don't understand why I called this location. Expressed my frustration to a young lady. She got my information part number off the battery and had me in and out in under a half hour out in the freezing cold. You really need to give sales members a bare minimum of loves or hand warmers. That's just not cool. They're making you money. You need to take care of them. If you value them they will stay.... Ask me how I know. Anyways, she was great cracked a couple of lame jokes and had it swapped out quickly.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
