  I had the need for emergency tires. Realizing that you needed an appointment, I was told he could squeeze me in@3. I was out by 3:30!

  I recently had an oil change on my civic at tire choice and my oil was over a quart low afterwards. So I don't know if they're intentionally under filling to save money or if it's complete incompetence by the employees. Either way it could have screwed my car up. So I'd never recommend getting any type of work done to your vehicle there.

  I had two experiences with Tire Choice in Mount Vernon last week, and both were excellent and a breath of fresh air when dealing with mechanics. The first visit was unexpected and urgent - my tire was hissing and rapidly losing PSI. I called and spoke to Jason. He helped me that day, and they got me in quickly, found the problem right away (a long piece of metal that had damaged the tire), and replaced it fast so I could safely get back on the road. I really appreciated how efficiently they handled a stressful situation. My second visit was for a scheduled brake flush recommended by my fleet company. Joel was my tech that day, and I was genuinely impressed by his honesty and professionalism. He took the time to explain what they look for when a brake flush is actually needed, showed me the test strip they use, and showed me that my vehicle did not currently need the service. Even though the charge would have gone through a fleet company and not out of my own pocket, Joel was clear that he did not want to charge anyone for something unnecessary. That level of integrity is rare and deserves recognition. He also took time to explain what a brake flush does and why it matters when it is needed, which I truly appreciated. Because of the honesty, professionalism, and kindness I experienced from both Jason and Joel, I’ll gladly return to Tire Choice in Mount Vernon for future tire, brake, and oil change needs. Highly recommend.
