  Justin and Jim were the manager and tech, respectively. these guys really took care of me for an excellent price. Servicing my older chrysler town and country they were excellent in their diagnosis every time and never went over the estimate. i trust them and will be back for services and tires

  Towed my vehicle to the Mr. Tire at 3620 Lincolnway East, Massillon, Ohio 44646, Shop 408, on 6/9/2026. My starter stopped working out of the blue without warning. Wanted to have the electrical connections tested for power from the battery and the signal wire. They said they don't have electrical volt meters or continuity testers at their shop. But without any confirmation they could only replace the starter with a new one. Without any itemization, he quoted $629.19. I said it was really expensive, and in all of the years past that I have replaced starters in my vehicles, I never had to spend that much. He replaced it and did not try to service the connections that were bad on the old one. When I went to pick it up he showed me the old one which had a braid wire that was broken through. That was why it stopped suddenly. Not necessarily that the starter itself was bad. Thats what I wanted to know by testing the electrical connections. So he replaced it with an AutoZone reconditioned or remanufactured one. When I picked up my vehicle I paid for it because I didn't really have a choice. When I got my receipt it said the did an inspection and scheduled maintenance review. The Manager, Justin, listed on the receipt said nothing about that. The only repair service listed was Miscellaneous Service with a part $345 and service for $201.The receipt said nothing about a starter replacement. I said does this repair have any warranty on it, and he said yes it should, through AutoZone. Why through AutoZone, Mr. Tire replaced it? i said what is that warranty, and he wasn't sure, he had to call the AutoZone store to find out. He then said when he was done on the phone that it should be a lifetime limited warranty, but nothing on my receipt states that. The receipt just says "all parts are new unless otherwise specified" Well it wasn't a new one, it was a reconditioned/remanufactured one. Then the receipt says "Please see the reverse side for warranty details". The reverse side says nothing about starters or my repair. It only covered mufflers, tires, brakes, and other suspension parts. Then to make my experience even worse, He hands me my receipt and pulls my car out and I see an additional $44.00 charge on my receipt for Shop Supply Fees for miscellaneous shop supplies and or wastes disposal. That is outrageous, Since I did not have my oil or transmission fluid changed or any tires to get rid of there should not have been a charge like that. In fact I told him you are taking my old starter and trading it in at Auto Zone for a credit towards the replacement one he put in my car and I stilled paid top dollar for the replacement one. Justin told me that There is nothing he can do about the shop fee charge because every customer has to pay that. I disagree. In fact he never mentioned it to me at anytime during this whole experience. Finally to top off the lousy customer service I received, I had to put up with a pushy call center that answered the phone every time I called back to the store. They would not let me speak to the actual store, instead they wanted me to commit to a repair service over the phone, wanted to know why I was calling to inquire about a repair, and were insisting that I make an appointment with the call center. And, initially they were insisting that they were going to set up the towing service for me. I said absolutely not, because I would have to pay for that and my own service is included on my insurance. So, needless to say I am totally disgusted with Monroe and Mr. Tire. I will never do business there again and I feel they owe me a refund for part of what I paid especially that $44.00 charge. I sent an email message the other day to Monroe Inc. website requesting an email address for this company's District Manager in my area so I could contact him, but I got no reply...

  They repaired a flat tire for me or a tire that was going flat. It only took about 20 minutes. The people were friendly. And the cost was reasonable.
