To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience with Enterprise and to request that someone from the company review my rental and contact me regarding the issues below. When I received the vehicle, it was extremely dirty. There were eyelashes stuck in a sticky substance on the steering wheel, crumbs throughout the vehicle, and the front windshield was so filthy that I could barely see through it at night. I ultimately had to clean the windshield myself just to safely drive the vehicle. Considering that cleaning fees are presumably part of the rental process, I find it unacceptable that I was essentially charged for a cleaning service while having to perform the cleaning myself. I also had significant issues with the rental paperwork and final charges. When I returned the vehicle after hours, I was approximately 25 minutes past the cutoff due to flooding. I was never contacted the following day to confirm that the vehicle had been received. Additionally, my paperwork initially showed that I had a four-day rental when my rental was actually seven days. After that error was corrected, the amount I was supposed to receive back somehow decreased rather than increased. My bill also showed that I had purchased roadside assistance and elected to use Enterprise’s insurance, neither of which I selected. Customer Service reviewed the matter and agreed that I had not chosen those options. Despite that, after the issue was supposedly corrected, the amount I was owed still decreased. There was also another individual listed as an authorized driver on my rental whom I do not know and did not authorize. This is extremely concerning and is another matter I expect Enterprise to investigate. I contacted Customer Service regarding these issues, and I was told that I should be owed more money. I was then referred back to the Marietta, Ohio office and told that someone there would contact me. I am still waiting for that call and have received no follow-up. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with both the condition of the vehicle and the way my rental and billing issues have been handled. I expect Enterprise to review the complete rental record, correct any improper charges, explain why an unauthorized driver was listed, and provide me with a clear accounting of what I was actually charged and what refund I am owed. I would appreciate having someone from Enterprise contact me directly to resolve this matter. I will give the company a couple of business days to respond. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will consider escalating the matter to the Better Business Bureau and sharing my experience with others when discussing rental-car companies. Do you not pride yourselves on customer service? Because unfortunately, my experience has not reflected that.

I rarely leave reviews, but after the way Tanner handled a phone call , I felt this needed to be said. There is no excuse for raising your voice or yelling at a customer. Whatever the issue was with the rental, professionalism should never be optional. Customers deserve respect, even during disagreements. If Tanner's behavior is representative of your customer service standards, your company has a serious problem. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because no customer should be spoken to that way. The entire office needs an attitude adjustment.

Had to rent a car through insurance since mine was getting worked on. They gave me an Altima that had multiple places with body damage, after a day (once the rental perfume wore off) the car smelled like someone ran a half marathon and left their clothes under the driver seat. Oh and they charged me over $7 a gallon because I didn’t bring the car back at the same fuel level???? Is this California. Gas is like $3.50 here. Take your business elsewhere. Hertz may be better at this point.

Mitch was a thoughtful, kind and understanding employee. Hate that my vehicle repair took longer than expected and ended up paying a LOT more when I returned the vehicle.

Great check in and check out process. No hidden fees. However, the vehicle I rented didn't run right the entire time I had it. Enterprise refused to let me exchange it for a different truck staying they didn't have another truck available the whole time.
