  In June I brought my 2006 Hyundai Sonata in to replace a bad alternator. They called me and convinced me I also needed full brake pads and rotors. I gave the go ahead as I suspected the brakes needed it. However I later found they did not adjust the e-brakes with the new rotors and the manual lever does not take up enough cable slack. But that is not the worst of it. Two months later while parked and waiting at the airport idling with my a/c on my windows suddenly steamed up and the air got hot. I glanced at the temp gauge and it was pinned H! I shut down the car and cooled it down by blowing high heat and got the car home that way. While trying to find out why the radiator fan was not running I noticed the fan power cable was not plugged in. I looked up the replace alternator procedure and sure enough removing the fan cowl is part of the procedure. So the tech had failed to plug in the radiator fan after the alternator installation. I called the shop to give feedback but never heard back from them (such as "is your car running ok?", "would you like us to check it over?" or even "we are sorry and this is how we resolved it with the tech procedures"). Obviously my engine was cooked, including the oil and antifreeze, seals, hoses etc. and risk of head warpage, however everything seems as before which shows how robust the Hyundai 3.3L V-6 engine is.

  My wife and I have had her Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced at the Tuffy of Lewis Center many times throughout the past few years, as well as recommending them to several of our neighbors and friends. Unfortunately, our experience today was less than exceptional. When my wife went to pick her car up, she found several greasy hand prints on the outside of her door, as well as the window. Upon entering the car, she found grease all over the arm rest, as well as the steering wheel. Then when she got home, there were two quarter sized grease stains that were left on her car seat and stained her white pants.

  Jeff and the team did a great job of diagnosing and performing the needed repairs for my Civic at a very reasonable cost. I highly suggest using this Tuffy location for your car repair needs.

  Very speedy and professional! Diagnosed and fixed A/C issue within 2 days. Jeff is great!! Even had to deal with a warranty issue and still got everything taken care of without delays. Highly recommend!
