I was leaving the city with low charge looking for a place to fill up to start my long trip home and I set my route for this location since it seemed to have solid infrastructure. I pulled in at night and found the bright blue/green glow of the charge stations, but the parking lot itself was pretty dark. I needed to stop somewhere to use the restroom and noticed that there is no crosswalk, there are no sidewalks, and most of the strip mall businesses are closed after dark. Chick-fil-A had a very busy drive through and I didn't want to try to walk through it. I wasn't even sure if the dining room was open (it was). I ended up running across the street to the McDonald's. It was definitely a little treacherous walking around at night with no pedestrian protections and inadequate lighting, but the charge station itself was fine. I charged up without needing to install an app and was on my way.

*** update***
I came back to use this charging station today, September 30, 2026. and was able to get connected; however, the charging was extremely slow. I was only getting about 60 KW And they were charging more than any other charger around this area, and I do pay monthly for Evgo plus or whatever the highest subscription is. I called customer service because I realized how slow it was charging and that I was being charged more than I should have been, and upon my conversation with customer service, I learned I was being charged way more than I should’ve been being charged per KW. I should’ve only been being charged $.37 per KW. I was being charged $.57 per KW. I then had to send in an email with a screenshot of what I was charged compared to what I should have been charged in order to hopefully get some kind of a refund. A waste of time and money, and I will be canceling my membership and not utilizing their services anymore
These things never work!!! The Kelton machine is so freaking annoying to deal with! Both times I’ve tried to use them they constantly give errors!!! Better off going to Electriy America at IKEA

Overall it was a good experience. There were spaces to charge and the charging speed was fast (140kwh on my car). But the price....68 cents per kwh.... It's way more pricey than local ChargePoints. If you're thinking about charging here without getting an EVgo subscription, then I would look elsewhere if you're not in a rush.
