Did NOT know that I could get it replaced at Advance Auto Parts! In the parking lot! Nick was so great about helping me choose the best battery for my vehicle and I was on my way in under a half-hour after he installed it. I got the tip about the battery install from Braden, the AAA pro who showed up to get the car started. When I asked about who in town could help on a late Saturday afternoon, he recommended Advance on Memorial Drive. Can't recommend this team highly enough - they'll check error codes for free and free install comes with your battery purchase.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
