  Staff was courteous professional paid attention to detail took the time to answer all my questions didn't rush me into the car and then out the driveway it was truly a good experience

  The Lakewood, Ohio Enterprise is a great location with a group of positive, customer focused associates. Trent and Stephen were really helpful and took care of a vehicle replacement/roadside assistance situation and made it all right! Thank you!

  I’ve always had great experiences with Enterprise as a company, which is why this review is specifically about the Lakewood location. I used to rent from this branch regularly and never had any issues. Unfortunately, my last two experiences have been very different. Most recently, my rental was through my insurance company, yet I was required to leave a deposit for the full amount based on how long I expected to have the vehicle (which I guessed because I didn’t know how long it would take to repair.) In all of my previous insurance rentals with Enterprise, I had never been asked to do that, so I questioned why it was necessary. When I later called for an explanation, I was told there were “a few different ways” the deposit could have been handled, but that the manager would “help me out this time.” That answer didn’t explain why I was being treated differently from my previous rentals. When I returned the vehicle, I was charged the full cost of the rental and told my insurance company had only approved one day of coverage. That didn’t seem right, so I contacted my insurance company directly. They confirmed my rental was covered for the entire repair period. They also informed me that I qualified for a comparable replacement vehicle based on the vehicle being repaired. At the Lakewood branch, however, I was told my insurance did not cover a comparable vehicle and that I would have to pay extra if I wanted one. On top of that, when I called the location office directly with questions about the charges and I was disconnected twice after speaking with someone. After calling Enterprise’s corporate customer service, I was transferred back to the branch and left on hold for nearly 20 minutes, after I heard the employee say, I don’t know what to saw to this guy.” Or something like that. I still believe Enterprise is an excellent company, and this review is not about the brand. It’s about my experience at this specific location. Between the inconsistent information, unexpected charges, conflicting explanations, and poor communication, I left feeling like I couldn’t trust the process. Whether it was a mistake or a breakdown in how this branch operates, it was not the level of professionalism I’ve come to expect from Enterprise, and I won’t be returning to this location. There are many in the area so choose a different one.
