  Hardshift transmission is a place that I highly recommend. Prices are reasonable but I did not shop around or go there for price. I was referred to them by a friend who said they had a good reputation. I have now done three projects with them, and I am very pleased with their service. The bottom line is this....herb, the owner is a fair and honest guy. If you have a problem you only need to tell him about the problem, and he will work with you. This is a company that values their customers, and treats them right. Not everything they do is perfect, but when you have a company that is honest. and respects their customers... you have a lot to work with. I highly recommend hard shift Transmissions

  Herb and his crew are exceptional! They rebuilt my transmission in just a matter of days. When my truck wouldn't start afterwords, they volunteered to diagnose the problem(a burned out starter wire incorrectly installed elsewhere) and fixed it, no charge! Who does that?! A super nice staff who really enjoyed working on my vintage truck-great pricing, fantastic staff and service, to boot! This kind of generosity just made my day. Thank you, all! Highly recommend!

  The one and only place to take your car with transmission problems. Highly recommend Herb and his team. You guys refreshed my transmission in my 91 Buick Reatta after a very bad experience elsewhere. My car transmission was completed in a week and I was back on the road shifting flawlessly. Thank you for your expertise and professionalism. I wish every garage had the integrity you do. If I could give you 10 stars I would.

  I had the transmission on my 2014 Silverado 1500 rebuilt here. The communication was excellent. The staff is very friendly and extremely courteous, staying there and allowing me to wait there afterhours for my wife to pick me up. They were spot on with their pricing and time frame and it was substantially less than the Chevy dealer had quoted me. I am overall very satisfied with my experience and would recommend them.
