Woods has worked on my car a few times over the years. This last time went as smooth as expected when having to deal with an insurance company. My car looks good as new and I was kept updated throughout the process.

Okay I have NEVER left a google review before for any business because honestly I can usually look past a lot of things when it comes to poor service. But Woods just did one too many things incorrectly that I have to say something. I have actually used Woods in the past and had a great experience but this time around was nothing short of a nightmare. First thing, my car was backed into and needed repair work done. I got my car in there, they fixed it, and told me they would leave my car out front with the keys in it (I had to pick it up after hours) and I could go and get it. That was about a month ago. I get there to pick up my car and there are still damages. I call the next day and was told that they wanted me to bring my car back into the shop so they could see what I was talking about. When I am there for the second time, I am being told that the damage my car could be considered “normal wear and tear” (very clearly NOT normal wear and tear) but that they would submit more information to the insurance. Great. I get a phone call about two weeks later that insurance has approved fixing the rest of my car. I’m told that they just need to order the replacement parts (should have the parts by the end of that week) and they could get me in to fix my car in ONE day and then I’d be good to go. I wait around all week expecting a phone call to go get my car fixed and I don’t get a call until Friday around 4 pm saying my parts came in. Mind you, I was going to have to take a day off to get this done because I use my vehicle for work purposes and getting a rental car through this persons insurance was very hard. So Meredith told me I could bring my car back the next week to get it fixed but “If she had a choice it would not be Monday or Tuesday because we are busy.” I also am told during this phone call that she never told me one day to repair it, it could take longer if they break something. Awesome. I’m being lied to now. Again, I use my car for work so I had to pre plan this day where I could take time off of work to get this done. I was expecting Wednesday-Friday of the week she ordered the parts or Monday of the next week and that is what I communicated to my manager because that is what I was told by Meredith. Because of this miscommunication by Meredith I had to wait an additional two weeks to get my car fixed and I was only able to do it because I had already had a day off planned for an appointment. So because of Woods Collision center, I had to miss an important appointment and a meeting. In addition, yesterday I called to see if my vehicle was done, to which Abby said just give us 30 minutes and we will have it out front for you. I was not able to go get it before the business closed so I asked that they park my car out front and I would pick it up after hours and she said okay. I go last night to pick it up and it’s not out there. I’m fuming at this point. I successfully picked up my car this morning and went about my day. I just got a phone call from Abby at Woods Collision center and she said that my car was done and I could come and get it. To which I replied, um I already picked it up this morning. The fact that they don’t even know which cars are going in and out of this place is insane to me. Wild wild wild. I’m not one to bash businesses online. I actually hate that I just sat here and wrote all of this down. However, I had such a horrible experience that I need to put this out there so that others don’t make the same mistake that I did by going to Woods Collision Center in Hillsboro.
