- PSPhillip Stahr5 days ago1.0My rear brakes and rotors were replaced in October of 2024 by Tire Discounters in Heath. I began to hear a grinding noise when braking 3 days ago. When i brought my vehicle into Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers i was informed that my rear brakes and rotors would need to be replaced. I explained to them they were replaced less than 2 years ago. After speaking with the technician he explained that the calipers and slide pins were not lubricated when they were replaced by tire discounters which caused the excessive wear but thankfully after a lot of work he was able to save the calipers. I will never go back to the Heath location but i highly recommend Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers in New Albany.

Despite a full schedule they were able to squeeze us in and do an assessment. They were able to plug the tire and get us on our way within a couple of ours of our drop in. They were professional and efficient and there was no charge for the service. They made an unpleasant experience much less painful than it could have been and resulted in the best possible outcome given the circumstances.
