She really helped me out with getting a new battery and making sure I was able to install it properly and everything. She is a very smart, kind, and informative woman. She knows what she is talking about probably more than most men that work at these kind of stores. I am 8.5 months pregnant and she helped me out so much with my problem and taught me quite a bit in the process too. I am very grateful for her being there today. She is truly Heaven sent! I don’t think this was her original store, I think she is actually from another location but regardless she deserves a raise! An awesome woman to have encountered. May God bless her.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
