The tech did call me ahead of time to let me know he'd be late which I appreciate. Once he started the work it took less than two hours and looks to be a good job.

What should have been a straightforward windshield replacement turned into a 6 1/2 week ordeal with extremely poor customer service. Safelite initially installed aftermarket glass instead of OEM-approved glass due to their system defaulting to that rather than initially installing the OEM glass which the insurance approved. Therefore, the windshield could not be properly recalibrated. Despite numerous calls to both corporate and the local shop, I received little help and multiple requests for callbacks were never returned. The shop initially offered a discount because of the issues, but later rescinded it and demanded full payment. After over six weeks of delays, repeated appointments, poor communication, and no accountability, I would advise others to look elsewhere for windshield replacement services.
