  Storytimeee. Went to Take 5 for an oil change today. I was pulled in, hood open, men already starting to mess around under the hood. They were moving way too quick even for “speedy” service. They of course they tried to up sell me on different brand s of oil, almost $50 more. I told them no thank you. After just a few mins they told me they were unable to do my oil change because my dipstick was broken. That I would have to replace the entire dipstick hose housing along with the dipstick. My dipstick was fully intact just 2days before when I was under the hood. So long story short, they broke my dipstick and refused me service. I left, completely distraught and not knowing what to do next. I went to Auto Zone and the people there were able to get the broken piece out. I bought a new dipstick. The employees there told me do not trust anyone other than Valvoline. So that’s where I went. I got there, immediately was greeted and I explained what had just happened. They told me that they would have done the oil change for me even with it being broke off! But Take 5 refused… after THEY broke it!! They got me in and out quickly. But I was most impressed with how friendly and helpful they were, offering me a boat load of info I wasn’t aware of. After the day I’ve had, the people and service at Valvoline was a breath of fresh air. My day was going terribly but they changed it all around. The manager Jason and Destany and Keenan were seriously GREAT. If you are a woman or elderly individual, DO NOT go to Take 5. Go to Valvoline. It will be the only place I trust my vehicle from this point on.

  I got a list of things done at this location one of those being the coolant refilled in my vehicle upon getting back to my home the coolant emptied out all over my garage floor. I took this vehicle back to valvoline right after where I met this nice lady whose name I should have gotten alongside the manager Jason. They diagnosed the issue being a broken cap on my reservoir and went out and bought a new cap and refilled the antifreeze/coolant once more. What really shocked me was Jason’s above and beyond customer service to offer to clean my garage floor after I mentioned the initial coolant spilling out. I would never ask this of someone but to find someone so willing to go above and beyond the workplace is rare I’d recommend anyone to go here for their vehicle needs!

  Didn’t wait more than 15 mins while in line. Got me in quick. Had the oil changed in about 5-7 minutes and also got my tires rotated in about 10 minutes. Have gone to a few of these quick oil stop shops, but this one was by far the quickest. Nobody was messing around, you could tell they were serious about getting you in and out. But we’re very friendly & knowledgeable at the same time. Will be my new oil/tire spot from now on! Highly recommend this location! (Englewood next to meijer)

  Top tier service. I think I’ve found my favorite auto shop! Never left the car, but they checked all of my lights, made sure my windshield wipers were still up to par, and changed my air filter! They showed me my oil levels when they finished and my car has never ran better. So friendly and the hospitality was amazing. I’m definitely going back!

  Alexis was great! Very quick and efficient. However, Keenan was completely unprofessional. I was told I have a transmission leak so I asked if he could tell me where and he said NO very rudely. His overall attitude as I was listening while waiting for my oil to be changed was not what I would expect. My husband and I use this location quite often and this is the first time I’ve actually been angry listening to men talk to a young lady who is doing everything right and giving excellent customer service. I hope this is addressed. I was really torn A rating If I had to give her a rating, it would be five stars.
