I had a 10/10 experience at this Pilot. I got into a sticky situation with my EV, and Cassandra rescued me! I am so grateful for the kindness of the staff. They had a great snack selection as well!!!

Mel and Cassandra helped get me out of a sticky car situation and checked in on us late through the night. Solid snack options and clean bathrooms. A safe, well lit area between the highway and Oxford. After a stressful week and chaotically bad day, these two workers went above and beyond to provide a safe space for us… even helping us find an outdoor walk charger after we were unable to connect to the chargers on location. They also checked in on us and made sure we were safe as we awaited our tow truck. Thank you Mel and Cassandra for helping us out on a rough day.

The manager was nice, clean bathrooms (3 stalls), showers, has subway inside and good store, good gas station.

Official Statement regarding the incident at Pilot #002 (Eaton, OH) Date: April 15, 2026 Location: 6141 US-127, Eaton, OH 45320 Vehicle/Unit: 2526 Statement of Events: I am writing to provide a formal account of the fueling incident that occurred at the Pilot Travel Center in Eaton, OH. 1. Presence at the Vehicle: I want to clarify that I was present and remained in the immediate vicinity of my vehicle during the entire fueling process. I was performing routine maintenance (cleaning the windshield) while waiting for the automatic shut-off to engage. I was observant of the fueling process; however, the mechanical safety mechanism (auto shut-off) on the nozzle failed completely. 2. Equipment Failure: The fuel overfilled by approximately 56 gallons because the nozzle did not stop the flow as it is legally and technically required to do. This was a direct result of faulty equipment provided by the station. 3. Post-Incident Actions & Leak: As soon as I realized the fuel was overflowing, I immediately manually disengaged the nozzle to stop the spill. I then went inside to notify the clerk/manager immediately. Even after the pump was officially "stopped" and the nozzle was returned, I noticed a slow, persistent leak (dripping) from the equipment, which I also pointed out. 4. Evidence: I have video footage recorded immediately after the manual shut-off, showing the spill, the meter reading (106 gallons), and the fact that there were no "Out of Order" signs or warnings on the pump.

This is the dirtiest Pilot Travel Center we’ve ever been too! The pumps wouldn’t accept credit cards or print receipts. Everyone had to wait 15 minutes for the person ahead of them to fill up. Upon entering inside, the line was backed up while the cashiers chatted. One remarked, “ya I have to listen to them while they speak Mexican.” My mouth literally dropped. The other cashier was also rude, took her time to look at clothes before acknowledging my wife. The lunch meat at the Subway made us lose our appetites and we couldn’t wait for this entire experience to end.
