  Sorry, ahead of time! This will be a little long to explain what could have been a dangerous situation!!!!! Scott is an amazing guy with a lot of knowledge who is very kind. I’ve known him for years, working another Auto Zone to this one. All of the staff I've worked with have been great, they will even help (if possible) with your parts if you’re not sure how to install. After installing an unusual battery set up for me. Scott did a diagnostic on my car that I had done by two auto shops (said they could find no gas leak). I had been smelling gas when I would get out of the car, there was no leakage on the ground and this was a used purchased car. This went on for many months until Scott found a leakage with the gas cap or chamber that goes to your tank. So either they didn’t do the diagnostic or didn’t want to mess with this repair. NOTE: The one shop is who I had been taking my cars to for a few years. Went through a lot of gas for an efficient engine. I did the first logical thing and replaced the cap. Looked up how to reset and the message and warning sign went away. Scott said usually it’s not the cap. Was an answer to prayer. He saved me a lot of money and being safe on the road. It was a simple fix, the shop would have replaced both and charged ?. Plus the gas smell went away, no more danger of sparks, someone lighting a cigarette, etc. Thank you so much Auto Zone and Staff for being such a wonderful business to our community! God bless you!
