We were involved in a deer accident and our vehicle was sent to 3C Body Shop for repairs. After keeping the vehicle for nearly two months, it was returned to us with a leaking radiator.
The latch sensor stopped working and continuously indicates that the latch is open. As temperatures rose, we discovered the AC is not functioning. The wiper blades only operate when the vehicle is in motion, and the right-side door is loose allowing noticeable air and road noise inside.
When we contacted the body shop, we were advised to take the vehicle to the dealership, as they had outsourced the electrical work. They also suggested opening a new insurance claim to address these issues.
This is extremely frustrating. The repair cost exceeded $35,000, and I personally paid approximately $3,500 in deductible directly to the body shop. Despite this, I am now being asked to restart the entire process working again with the dealership, insurance adjusters, and additional claims.
It is very disappointing that the body shop appears to lack proper quality control and did not thoroughly inspect the vehicle before returning it to us.

I had a very frustrating experience with this body shop, mainly due to what appears to be a complete lack of final inspection before releasing vehicles.
I dropped off my 2025 vehicle in early January and didn’t get it back for a couple of months. Unfortunately, the problems started immediately. Within the first mile of driving, the hood sensor showed that the hood was open. I pulled over, checked, and latched it securely, but the warning came back again as soon as I hit a small bump.
It got worse from there. The same day, I noticed fluid leaking from the front—turned out the radiator was leaking. To their credit, they did send a tow truck and took the vehicle back, but this is not something that should ever be missed before handing a vehicle back to a customer.
Because it was winter and business was slow, we didn’t use the vehicle much at first. Once we started using it regularly, more issues kept showing up:
* Hood latch sensor still falsely indicates the hood is open
* Passenger-side door seal lets air in, causing loud wind noise above 50 mph
* Wipers only work while the vehicle is moving, not when stationary
* Reefer motor makes a squeaking noise on startup and intermittently while driving
* AC is not working at all
* Right tire pressure sensor constantly shows low pressure despite proper inflation
To be fair, they have asked me to bring the vehicle back again. However, the bigger concern remains: how was the vehicle released in this condition in the first place? A proper final inspection should have caught multiple of these issues—especially something as obvious as a radiator leak and faulty hood sensor.
At this point, it feels less like isolated issues and more like a breakdown in their quality control process.
I’m willing to give them a chance to make it right, but based on my experience so far, I would strongly advise others to double-check their vehicle before leaving the shop.

I hit 2 deer on my way to work in January. 3C is preferred with State Farm, so I decided to go with them. When I dropped my vehicle off the same day of my accident they did a walk around with us was told that they were gonna start on it the next day, which was a Wednesday by Friday, still hadn’t heard anything from 3C about an estimate. I called to get an update call was transferred and went to voicemail. I left a message. I called back Immediately to see if they were out of the shop. I was told no that when they get back in the office, they would call never received a call back. On Monday, I called my insurance company. Because I was real concerned about the bad reviews that I had read. My insurance company put me on hold and called 3C to get an update. I was on hold for quite some time. Finally, the insurance got back with me. They apologized for the long hold. They also did not get a hold of anyone to get an update. Told me they left a message With 3C to call them And give them an update. After not hearing from my insurance company or 3C, I decided to call Precise Collision and glass highly recommend this place. They picked up my truck after going through a lot of BS with 3C, like hanging up with the insurance company on the phone to get my truck released, wouldn’t answer their phone because they were Screening phone calls. Precise had to use a personal phone to call 3C, they picked that up immediately. I had to tell them three times that I wanted my truck released. They were very argumentative. After 3C received a call from precise that they were picking my truck up 3C started blowing my phone up wanting to know what was going on, but couldn’t give me a call to give me an update. While speaking with them, I was told that they had all this stuff done to my truck and that they had pictures and could prove it and they would send them to me. This was at noon by 3 o’clock when I got off of work I still had not received pictures that they told me they would send. I waited for my husband to get off work just because of the attitude that they were giving me on the phone, called precise we were meeting at 3C to pick up my truck. I personal believe my truck was taken apart and an estimate put in on the day precise was Picking it up. When we arrived at 3C they asked what was going on. I said I was there to get my truck. The mechanic showed us where my truck was taken apart and was wanting to know why we were picking it up. My husband said where’s the pictures that you promised my wife. We were told he didn’t have time to send them. He was busy. My personal belief is he was busy tearing my truck apart because he knew it was getting picked up and they needed to get some sort of payment. While we were there at 3C to get my truck, we were also told that they put my truck ahead of other people vehicles that have been sitting there for 2-3 months. After picking my truck up from 3C I called State Farm and told them I would never deal with 3C again. I didn’t care that they were preferred body shop. None of my vehicles would ever go there again. I do not recommend this place. Precise Collision and glass had my vehicle back to me within three weeks.
