My car back window was broken by some hoodlums. I have lived at this address for over 30 years. And nothing like this has ever happened before. To anyone on the court. At 80 years old, I did not know what to do so I called my insurance agent. Who directed me to Safelite auto glass. I made an appointment. The young man showed up on time after calling to make sure I was prepared for him to come. He went right to work, put the window in and cleaned up everything the car inside and the driveway. I could not be more pleased, polite, professional, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I highly recommend this company.. I will use them again if the neat presents itself.

Everyone was polite. Windshield was installed promptly. However, it has only been five days since installation. Until I drive through a car wash or rainstorm, I am unable to evaluate the quality of the installation. That is a problem in requesting an evaluation so soon after work is completed.

Lamant really came through for us.
He did the impossible:
He found a glass that others couldn’t,
he inspected the glass before the install when others couldn’t
he got it installed when others couldn’t,
he came on time when others couldn’t,
It was quite the experience working with others, but he was the saving grace to our experience.

Dropped off at 9:30, handed my keys at 4. Got all the way home and saw the shoddy work, doesn’t even look waterproof but I guess I’ll know tomorrow. Very disappointed.
Update: scheduled a warranty repair to come to me this time since I wasted a whole day last week, and the tech called to say they overbooked him and he may not even make it out. I know this is happens because as a tradesman myself dispatch makes promises I can’t keep often. So this is really an admin problem and it’s frustrating they promise a warranty with no reasonable process to repair. My van is my livelihood, and right now I wish I’d kept my cracked windshield and never been to satellite.

Arrival window of 8am-12pm given. Expected maybe an update either evening before or morning of... nothing. My wife can't even take a shower due fear the tech might show up any minute. By 11:45, I try to call the store. The times in a row, call is ended after I ask the AI to speak to a rep. I call the national customer service and even she can't get thru to store! Finally, she reaches the tech, who says he was delayed on previous appointment (but apparently doesn't know how to send a message to update me). Finally at 12:25 he calls to says he's 10 min away. I say I'm pretty Ungaro about being late and not keeping us updated. He says, "oh, I still have 35 mins before I'm late". (What??!!) I am what the heck has talking about and he says (I kid you not), "oh it's still within the 12 o'clock hour?"
Fortunately, my wife didn't miss her afternoon appt, but this was ridiculous.
