The bays are clean, the tools are clean, and the staff is all nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. If I needed a special tool, they went and got it in the back. The tool boxes are well organized and everything you could possibly need is there. I was able to fix my rear wheel hub assembly and both rear struts for a fraction of what a shop would have charged. Everything took me 3.5 hours to do and if I needed help, the staff that was there was right on the spot. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to fix their car themselves and save a bunch of money in the process. This place is making me think about doing a project car now. The attached picture is of what I was fixing.

Sockets, ratchets, SAE and Metric, hex bits, Torx bits, triple square bits, torque wrenches, caliper hangers, hammers, brake piston tools, and an air powered impact drive and ratchet. And I’m sure I’m missing some. The space was comfortable. Closed bays so no excess heat was coming in. He has fans throughout the shop for air circulation. Water was available to stay hydrated. I’ll be coming back for any and all work I’ll do on my car to support Dave and his business. I couldn’t be happier.

Do you fix my car, or do I do the work?
You perform all work on your own vehicle. Pit Row Performance is a do-it-yourself garage facility, not a traditional repair shop. We provide the professional workspace, commercial lift equipment, and necessary tools. Our staff is available on-site to answer questions, but you maintain full control of the repair process.
I've never used a lift. Is that okay?
Previous lift experience is not required. Every first-time customer participates in a mandatory one-on-one safety orientation with a staff member before beginning any work. This session covers proper lift operation and general shop safety protocols. We also assist with positioning your vehicle on the lift. We welcome customers who are willing to learn.
What if something unexpected happens while my car is on the lift?
We address each situation individually and work directly with you to determine the appropriate solution. Our staff is present specifically to assist in these circumstances. If you encounter a problem or feel uncertain about how to proceed, notify us immediately and we will resolve the issue together.
Do I need to bring tools?
Tools are not necessary. Every bay rental includes a fully stocked BoxO USA toolbox containing hand tools, sockets, torque wrenches, impact guns, and air tools. We continuously expand our tool inventory. You are welcome to use your own tools if you prefer.
What kinds of vehicles can you lift?
Our four Rotary SP commercial two-post lifts accommodate most passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks up to half-ton pickups. Vehicles with very low ground clearance or extensive modifications may require additional puck adapter setup. Please provide details about your vehicle's configuration when booking, and we will confirm compatibility prior to your arrival.
What if I run out of time before I finish?
Please inform us as soon as you anticipate exceeding your scheduled time. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs based on the specific circumstances. For larger projects, we recommend booking additional time beyond your initial estimate. We charge only for actual time used, so booking extra time carries no penalty.
Can you get my parts ahead of time?
Parts procurement is available for members. Provide your VIN and repair details when booking, and our parts concierge will order through FCP Euro, AutoZone, or Advance Auto. We verify exact fitment before ordering, ensuring your parts are staged on your tool cart upon arrival.
How do I book? Is there an online calendar?
We do not maintain a live online booking calendar. Please complete the form below or contact us by phone or text at (380) 210-4202. We confirm your bay reservation within a few hours, ensuring the appropriate lift bay, tool cart, and any requested parts are prepared before you arrive.
When are you open and how do I find you?
Our operating hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 9AM to 8PM. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Our facility is located at 734 Garden Rd, Columbus OH 43214, in the Clintonville area near Morse Rd and Indianola. On-site parking is available. You can also locate us through Google Maps or Apple Maps.
