My sister went to look at products to see what she could find. I waited in the long line to ask for the possible product for a temporary fix. Tanisha was working very hard she had a very difficult customer at her register telling her she had an attitude. While in line for about ten minutes and when I walked in he was bombarding her with I want this no I said that not this. He had a bad attitude and was on his phone the entire time holding the line up and raising his voice. Pushing parts back and then going on about this is what I want. No don't take that I want this. She was very classy she politely told him I'm sorry sir you think I have an attitude I've been trying to get you everything you wanted while I'm the only one at the register right now and have a long line. I think your giving me an attitude but I'm sorry for your inconvenience I'll try to work harder. He wouldn't get off his phone and he kept her going back and forth for a long time. Noel came in with car parts and got right to the line asking who was next. She gave advice to clients and made sure everyone has a receipt to make sure they got their money back on what was returnable. She was able to get the line down fast and with care. She let us know our product might not work she wasn't familiar with it. We very much appreciated her honesty. The man was still at Tanisha's register and she was giving great service with a smile while working hard. Even though he was being the difficult one and trying to complain about service. Both women worked very hard. They gave honest feedback and kept patience with even difficult people. Their knowledge, honesty, and hard work should be rewarded by the chain owners; because their capabilities in customer service is hard to find. They do deserve a raise and possibly made employees of the month.

- RRRickJun 2, 20251.0Had starter replaced 4 years ago purchased from advance auto.....starter had lifetime warranty....starter went out so I went here to get it exchanged. They said it was a limited warranty and not covered? I was shocked because that's why I purchased it through them....fir the warranty. Guy looked it up and said it was in system but it wasn't purchased at that store so he couldn't do anything. This after he told me it wasn't covered? I can not recommend advance auto to anyone anymore. Buy at napa or oriellys or autozone....or online at rockauto.com ....very disappointed long standing customer. No i won't be back to your store but thanks for the generic reply, it shows how much you as the owner don't care about your customers. No effort to correct the problem. Very poor business.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
