  No, that isn't the type of service usually offered by National. When I returned the vehicle, the agent asked if I was sure I had picked it up at that location. I confirmed that I had—two days prior. Anyway, he told me not to worry about it. Long story short: two days later, I still haven't received my receipt, even though I’ve already been charged. I called National customer service, and they told me the local management hadn't closed out my contract yet, though they had been notified and it would be handled quickly. That still hasn't happened, and my reimbursement process is delayed! Thanks for nothing! P.S. In 2025, I’ve rented from National for over 90 days. Maybe it’s time to switch companies and see what the competitors has to offer.

  I'm a happy and huge fan of national car rental. But. My experience in Cleveland with one of the employees was unpleasant. I'm a executive member for Many years. I went to the executive section to choose a car there wan no special/executive car. It was just regular cars like. Toyota Corolla. Hyundai sonata etc which it should be in emerald section,. But I went to ask for executive car from one of employee's. He started giving me bad attitude. And telling me this car's are executive which are totally not. Very unprofessional. I did experience such issues in other locations but they always provide me with a executive car.

  The cars are fine. The people are fine. But they share an exit with Enterprise and Alamo and they're always seems to be just one booth open and a line of 15 + cars waiting to get out. It took me 27 minutes from getting in the car to be able to actually pull out of the parking lot. When I returned my car 3 days later, it was the exact same thing. Both times it was the middle of the afternoon. There seems to be zero training about calling for backup, and there's clearly no manager taking responsibility for ensuring things go as they are supposed to.

  Will not be using National Car Rental again. Reserved a 12 seater passenger van but my flight got delayed. I called in advance (the day before) and they said they would "hold" the van for me. When I got to the front desk I was informed my $1090 rental would now be a $2400 rental. WHAT?! Apparently the weekly special was no longer valid because I wouldn't rent it for 7 days, but for 6. Come on, seriously? Less days, double the money. It felt like a bait and switch and a scam. With a family in tow there was nothing I could do but pay the full amount. To make matters worse, the van they gave me was a 15 passenger diesel vehicle. Not what I had planned. Also much higher fuel costs for the trip. Lastly, the van ran out of DEF which should have been filled up in advance. Was told by their call center to get it swapped out for another vehicle or add the DEF myself, which I did. Another $30 down the drain. I'm pretty sure I could litigate this and win in small claims court. Would you like to make this right National Car Rental?
