From the moment that we signed up and went to register for a vehicle every step has been easy peasy lemon squeezy!
I especially loved the fact that if you were a certain tear of membership you could pick from the emerald Isle or the executive aisle.
Yes it took me forever to pick out the vehicle for our trip but the Nissan Rogue was absolutely phenomenal and the tall African-American man that works at National at the airport in Cleveland Ohio I want him recognized he was so kind and so compassionate with it being my first time that he was so patient with me.
He even told my husband after a while he's very interested to see what I actually picked out because I pretty much sat in everything LOL.
From the moment I chose National to the moment that the car was returned everything went smoothly quickly and I highly recommend National Car Rental from this day forward.
My beautiful Nissan Rogue was so comfortable it handled the hills and it handled the mountain so beautifully especially designed with zero gravity seats so the seats do not cut into the back of your legs which was amazing.
Such a comfortable car ride!
Everyone I spoke with from National treated me like a valued guest.
And the price I paid was wonderful!
If you like this review give it a heart and if you need a car rental go over to National by the Cleveland Hopkins Airport and get on the emerald Isle so you can pick out your own car.
That was so fun I want to do it again soon!

Having a flat tire is never fun, but when you are travelling for work it is even harder. Cars today do not come with spare tires but a call to National Roadside assistance had a tow truck pick up my vehicle and getting a new vehicle was so easy. Thank you to Bonnie at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport National rental center for making the exchange very easy and pleasant. They had me on my way quickly and efficiently!

Dylan Turned a Mess Into a Miracle
National Car Rental – Cleveland Airport
If this weekend were a World Cup match, Dylan at National would’ve been the star striker who saves the game in the final minutes — and then gets named Player of the Tournament.
Upon arrival, I discovered—thanks to a quick QR scan—that my original reservation with another company had been canceled. Their line was a full stadium’s worth of waiting, easily 40 people deep and moving at a pace that would’ve taken hours.
National had open counters and a team ready to play. Dylan explained that he couldn’t book the car for me himself, but if I could get online and reserve one, he’d take care of the rest. Problem was: no data, no Wi‑Fi in the building.
Dylan stepped up with a game‑saving move: he let me connect to his personal hotspot. With that assist, I found a car for less than my original reservation. Five minutes later, he had me checked out and heading to the lot.
Outside, the National crew was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely helpful. Even though I’d booked an economy car, I ended up with a large SUV — perfect for hauling everything we needed for the big game. Return was quick, easy, and exactly as expected.
National: this is the kind of employee you promote. This is the kind of employee you pay well. Dylan earned a customer for life.
Believe.
I travel for work often, while most is via plane I also drive often and exclusively use National when I do. There are many rental car places closer to my house, but the service, selection, quality, and care at this location matches or exceeds any location I have worked with in the country. Bonnie and Dan, specifically, are top notch and true professionals. The ONE issue I have ever had with a rental from this location was resolved in less than 24 hours, exceeded expectations, and solidified my choice in exclusively working with National for my rental needs.
I have never had trouble with inventory, selection, cleanliness or quality either. HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend National, especially this branch, when in Cleveland!
Bonnie and Dan- THANK YOU!
I rent about 230 days a year, all from National. I was using my free reward days while on vacation and decided to pay for a "premium" upgrade to treat my wife and myself. Unfortunately when I reached the gate to exit, I was informed that I could not take that particular vehicle because it was "exotic" and parked in the wrong place. BMW's are exotic cars now huh? When I got back to the "premium" area to return my exotic BMW, the gentlemen there asked what happened, and after telling him, he replied "That's strange I would have let you take that car, who told you that??". So, two different employees, two different stories. I gave up, asked them to downgrade my rental and grabbed a Honda Accord. I specifically asked them to make sure that I wasn't billed for the "premium" car that they wouldn't let me take, and I was assured I wouldn't be. Guess what they charged me? Yup you guessed it, it took 3 phone calls to rectify. I also spoke with customer service who assured me they would run this situation by management and someone would contact me. That didn't happen either. The Cleveland office needs better leadership, it's clearly evident. I will continue to use National because that's what my employer prefers, I will use my free rental days when needed but I will NEVER spend any $ on extras or upgrades again. National does not deserve my hard earned money,.
