- RRR1 day ago1.0Tamrin was the Tech that did my Oil Change. I had to ask him twice to check the pressure in my Tires, especially the Spare one. He did not give me the option of a Printed Receipt or an E-mail. He sent me an Email & Lorenzo printed me out one when I requested it. I proceeded to leave & my car would not go but it eventually did. A few hours later, I was leaving my house & my Engine Light came on so, I took my Car back to Valvoline, which is about 5 mins from my house & Destin & Lorenzo was trying to figure out the problem. Destin did a Diagnostic Test & a Code came back PO171. I popped my hood & he didn't even see the problem. I asked Destin did I need to take it to a Mechanic & he said yes. I was ready to let my car sit based on his findings & Tamrin's mistake. I left, came home, Googled the Code & Watched a YouTube Video on the Problem. Per the Video, I looked under my Car Hood & found that Tamrin did not re-connecting a Hose that lead to my Engine Air Filter that he was checking to see if it was clean. I ended up re-connecting the Hose myself, disconnected my Battery to "reset" everything & my Car is fine! He didn't even check my Cabin Filter or Top-off my Fluids. He told me something was draining my Battery. Could be my Alternator but I told him that my Starter, Battery & Alternator were only about 2-3 years old. I've been coming to this Valvoline Location for many years & will not be returning or recommend it to anyone. Thank Goodness for Google & YouTube because a Scam Artist would have taken Advantage of me 😱 🚗
