Was told at that time that they would have to order them and to arrive to Tire Discounters Red Bank on Tuesday prior to 11am. I asked if they would price match Costco’s tire price and was told they would and was even given a new quote over the phone. When I arrived today (Tuesday), I was told they didn’t have the tires and they weren’t even ordered. When the sales associate saw my Costco quote he said and “I’m not price matching that”. I explained that I called over the weekend and was told that the tires would be here today and given a quote that price matched Costco. Sales associate asked who I spoke with at TD and I said I didn’t write down the name (wasn’t aware I would be challenged) but I did show my call log from Saturday that showed a 5 minute call with the Red Bank Tire Discounters location. The sales associate just shrugged. Despite the poor customer service, if the tires had been there today I would have just paid the full price since it will be a hassle to reschedule my work commitments for another morning this week. I am headed to Costco now instead.
