  If you’re nervous about getting a fair price on transmission work please look here. Very friendly and extremely fair pricing. I won’t ever go anywhere else. Very fast and solved my issue ( even one I had 4 other mechanics look at who tried various different things and failed to solve it) I’m telling you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

  I cannot say enough great things about Northgate Transmissions. They are fast, they are fair, and they are extremely detailed oriented. When you visit the place, you’re immediately taken aback by how clean the whole operation is. You could probably eat off of their floors. It’s no wonder why they are so busy and I hope they are around for many years to come. Mike is a class act. He takes the time to explain things to you. They have held true to their warranty and put a concern of mine to ease with no additional cost. They even washed my car once they finished the service. Places like this are a rare gem and they have won all of my business.

  Spoke w/ a Mike on a Wednesday. He told me he probably couldn’t get to look at my car until Monday. Ok Cool. He said he does have an overnight key lock box I could bring my car, leave it and he can check it for me on Monday. Ok cool. Here comes Monday, no phone call to confirm he got my key, he noticed my car was there, nothing. Ok cool. I call. Phone consistently gives busy signal. I finally get through, I mention my name and that I was calling to get a timeframe of when he’d be done or if he’d looked at it. He spoke as if he never even remembered talking to me. He said umm yea I won’t even be able to look at it until tomorrow. Ok cool. Here’s Tuesday, still no call, check in, if he’s looked at my car, nothing. I call 5 times. No answer. I’m furious at this point because you’re wasting my time. I was recommended by someone to trust this guy with my car but I can’t even get decent communication. I get off work and go up to the shop, the lot is packed with cars that weren’t there when I dropped my car off Sunday night. I walk up to the office, no one’s in there. I walk past a guy on the phone, no acknowledgment. He gets off the phone and then ask how can I help you. I tell him I had called multiple times a day with no response let alone no follow up about anything. He says yes well you see I have all these cars here. I stated there had been no communication about anything at any point until I finally got through once and even at that time, he still hadn’t even looked at my car. My car was parked in the same spot I dropped it off. The situation would have been much different had there been any kind of communication. I said yea I’m going to take my car elsewhere for business. He just said ok! No accountability, nothing. Then had the nerve to have an attitude when I asked him to move the cars that had me blocked in. I do not recommend!! Bad business. 0 out of 5 from me. Don’t waste your time

  Worth it! Mike and his crew are great. We needed a complete transmission overhaul, and they did a great job. They even guarantee their work for 2 years, which is a big deal in today’s world! Thanks again guys!
