  We're in the learning curve with our new EV. We started out with level 2 and EVgo was our first level 3 experience. Some suggestions for other users. Don't depend on paying with app until at least 24 hours after signing up. I changed chargers and then started to figure out that my app payment hadn't gone through yet. No big problem because we used a credit card under the guest tab. But the screen says that you pay more that way. Overall though, we were still 5 star satisfied with the service. For us, that day, the price was 56¢ per kwh. In 35 minutes we were back to an 80% charge.

  First, thank you for cleaning up the mess and making your equipment more user friendly at the Hempstead location. I have several items in my complaint. I was charges $55 on my credit card for 100 miles which is way too high, My EVgo card did not work while I was advised that my account still existed. My receipt was not texted to my cell phone. However I received a text that advised that there was a problem with the telephone number that I used. Also please provide the rates in effect at the Hempstead location, Thank you for your kind consideration and refund any excess $ that I was charged. Roger Losekamp

  Make sure you download the app first. If you keep swiping your card, it could charge a hold for $50 every time. I could not get the charger out of my car - I didn’t know I had to hit the unlock button to the right of charging port of the car. Have a Mach e mustang. Make sure you select the right charger on the app- shows one on the left and right. Have to pick the correct one. Thankfully a man next to me was able to help as this was not intuitive but am glad that it’s working now.

  Super shady part of town. Looked like I was constantly being watched. Would not feel safe having my family stop here. The charger did work great though, just not a good place and far from highway.
